Sheffield Utd - Leicester 1 -0,5 2,20 52% Unibet 6/10
Leeds - Millwall 1 -0,5 1,80 58% PlayIT/BAW 6/10

Season H2H vetoja BAW:lle.

Southampton - Crystal P: 2 @ 2,00
- Molemmat kärkipäässä mutta Palace on kyllä näistä aavistuksen korkeampana mun rankingissa + mutullakin Saints on tän kauden putoajista kärsinyt eniten. 53%

Preston - Reading: 2 @ 2,00

Stoke - Sheffield W 1 -0,5 2,35 46% Unibet 3/10 (=normaalipanos)

Sheff Utd v Leicester

Sheffield United and Leicester City get the new domestic season under way, live on Sky Sports 1.

The lunchtime kick-off at Bramall Lane will see the 2005/06 campaign start in earnest, with both clubs chasing promotion from The Championship.

The Blades have been splashing the cash over the summer and Danny Webber and Paul Ifill can both expect to make their debuts in front of the Sky TV cameras.

But another pair of Neil Warnock's new signings - Craig Short and Neil Shipperley - will miss the game. Short is serving a suspension carried over from his Blackburn days, while ex-Crystal Palace striker Shipperley is not fully fit.

Former Leicester midfielder Lilian Nails should also make his Blades debut but Alan Wright is still missing with a cruciate ligament injury.

Leicester have added Elvis Hammond to their squad for the trip to South Yorkshire after he joined on a five-month loan from Fulham.

David Connolly has shaken off a groin injury to be available for The Foxes, while Rab Douglas could make his debut in goal.

Danny Tiatto is suspended for the visitors and Stephen Hughes, Patrick Kisnorbo and Lee Morris are all injured
..........
Norwich v Coventry

Carrow Road is the venue for Norwich City's opener against Coventry City as The Sky Blues wait for their new Ricoh Arena to be completed.

Coventry were originally supposed to be at home this weekend but their move from Highfield Road into The Ricoh Arena is on hold for another fortnight.

The Football League accepted the request to swap the fixtures round and Norwich will play in front of their own fans as the chase a swift return to The Premiership.

Nigel Worthington is due to hand a debut to Dean Marney following his loan arrival from Tottenham, while Mathieu Louis-Jean should get his bow ahead of fellow new signing Jurgen Colin.

Ryan Jarvis (hamstring) and Paul McVeigh (thigh) have definitely been ruled out as Worthington also has concerns over Youssef Safri and Jason Jarrett.

The midfield duo are both carrying hamstring complaints and The Canaries may decide not to take a risk on their fitness.

Coventry have a virtually full-strength squad to choose from with only Stuart Giddings absent due to an ankle knock.

Stephen Bywater is primed for his debut after signing from West Ham, while ex-Ipswich striker James Scowcroft could make his Coventry bow at Norwich
..........
Crewe v Burnley

Crewe Alexandra are set to unleash a new strike-force when they play Burnley in their opening game of the Championship season.

Dario Gradi has been active in the transfer market during the summer and has added Eddie Johnson, Juan Ugarte, Pavel Suhaj and Luke Rodgers to his squad.

Spanish ace Ugarte, who arrived from Wrexham, could spearhead the attack against Burnley, particularly as Johnson and Rodgers are both carrying knocks.

The Railwaymen are definitely without Chris McCready due to an ankle injury but Anthony Tonkin has recovered from a gash to his face.

Steve Cotterill takes his threadbare Burnley squad to Gresty Road in the hope of gaining a winning start to the new campaign.

The Clarets will be without one of their summer captures as former Arsenal trainee Daniel Karbassiyoon has a hip injury.

Michael Duff (knee), Micah Hyde (hamstring) and Wade Elliott (groin) are doubtful, although other new signings - Wayne Thomas, Gifton Noel-Williams and Garreth O'Connor - should make their debuts.

To compensate for the lack of numbers in his squad, Cotterill has added youngsters Kyle Lafferty and Chris McCann to his party for the trip to Crewe
...........
Palace v Luton

Luton Town will face former player Iain Dowie on their return to The Championship as The Hatters start at Crystal Palace.

Mike Newell's side were impressive winners of League One last season and will look to take their form to a higher level.

The Hatters have suffered a blow ahead of their trip to Selhurst Park after experienced goalkeeper Marlon Beresford was ruled out with a toe injury.

Dino Seremet or Dean Brill will deputise, while summer signing Carlos Edwards will miss out with a thigh injury. Dean Morgan and Markus Heikkinen could make their debuts.

Boosted by Andy Johnson's pledge to stay at the club, Palace will look to make a winning start to their quest for a swift return to The Premiership.

Palace boss Dowie has only one injury concern, with Finnish midfielder Aki Riihilahti missing with a calf problem.

Dowie could hand Palace baptisms to summer signings Darren Ward, Jobi McAnuff and Jon Macken.
..........
Derby v Brighton

Phil Brown welcomes Brighton & Hove Albion to Pride Park for his first game in charge of Derby County.

The former Bolton Wanderers assistant manager replaced George Burley at the helm over the summer and is relishing his competitive bow for The Rams.

Brown has been dealt a blow ahead of the game, though, with new club captain Jeff Kenna missing with a hamstring injury.

Paul Boertien is out with a knee problem but Marc Edworthy and Andrew Davies could make their debuts, while Michael Johnson and Mo Konjic are set to play.

Brighton boss Mark McGhee has been busy adding to his squad during the past week and is due to include his new signings against The Rams.

Paul McShane has joined on loan from Manchester United, while McGhee has added Argentinian striker Federico Turienzo to his squad.

Fellow new signings Jason Dodd and Colin Kazim-Richards are also set to play a role at Pride Park.

McGhee is also hoping to wrap up the month-long loan signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Wayne Henderson in time for the trip to East Midlands.
.........
Hull v QPR

A raft of new signings are likely to be on show as Hull City entertain Queens Park Rangers.

Both clubs have been active in the transfer market since the end of last season and are due to hand debuts to a string of fresh faces.

Ambitious Hull will mark their return to The Championship by including Sergio Leite, Mark Lynch, Danny Coles, Curtis Woodhouse, Keith Andrews and Steven McPhee in their squad.

But Tigers boss Peter Taylor does have a question mark hanging over the participation of Andy Dawson and Marc Joseph, who have hamstring injuries.

QPR have a couple of injury worries for the trip to The KC Stadium as Ian Evatt (thigh) and Simon Royce (back) are absent.

R's manager Ian Holloway is expected to hand a debut to veteran Italian defender Mauro Milanese, who moved to Loftus Road on Thursday.

Holloway is also due to introduce fellow new signings Tommy Doherty, Ugo Ukah, Stefan Moore and Marc Nygaard to his team.
..........
Ipswich v Cardiff

Jason De Vos is a big doubt for Ipswich Town as they open the new season at home to Cardiff City.

The Canadian defender has picked up a dead leg in training and, though included in the squad, is struggling to make the clash.

Town boss Joe Royle has added teenage stopper Chris Casement to the squad as cover for De Vos, with Ipswich starting the new campaign without several of the key men who took them to the brink of promotion last term.

The likes of Darren Bent, Kelvin Davis Shefki Kuqi and Tommy Miller have all gone, with the goalscoring onus now falling on the shoulders of new signings Nicky Forster and Sam Parkin.

Spanish stopper Castro Sito is unlikely to make his debut against Cardiff, with the visitors having nine new players at their disposal.

Cardiff boss Dave Jones has enjoyed a hectic summer and is likely to hand starts to Darren Purse, Neil Cox, Jermaine Darlington, Jeff Whitley and Jason Koumas.

Fellow new signings Kevin Cooper, Phil Mulryne, Glenn Loovens and Andrea Ferretti are likely to take up a place on the bench, while Joe Ledley is out for a few more weeks with a broken bone in his foot.
...........
Reading v Plymouth

Dave Kitson is in contention to feature for Reading when they entertain Plymouth Argyle.

The flame-haired striker has been struggling with a knee injury but a painkilling injection could see him line up on Saturday.

While Kitson could play for The Royals, Brynjar Gunnarsson is definitely missing for another fortnight with his knee injury.

New signings Kevin Doyle, Stephen Hunt and Leroy Lita are tipped to start, while Graham Stack, Chris Makin and Nicky Shorey may overcome minor injuries to feature.

Plymouth travel to The Madejski Stadium having added experience to their squad during the summer months.

Bobby Williamson has made six signings and they could all feature on Saturday, with Taribo West, Rufus Brevett and Anthony Barness brought in to bolster the defence.

Bojan Djordjic may make his debut on the wing, Nuno Mendes is in the squad while Akos Buzsaky could be handed his second bow for The Pilgrims having turned his loan deal from Porto into a permanent arrangement
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Saints v Wolves

Antti Niemi is in the Southampton squad to face Wolves, live on Sky Sports 1, as Glenn Hoddle returns to St Mary's.

Finnish goalkeeper Niemi had been a doubt for the club's opening game in The Championship due to a wrangle over his contract.

But Niemi has now settled his differences with the Southampton board and should start against Wolves on Saturday evening.

Saints boss Harry Redknapp has seen several big-name departures over the summer following the club's relegation from The Premiership, with front duo Kevin Phillips and Peter Crouch the toughest to replace.

Ricardo Fuller has been signed from Portsmouth and is likely to make his debut after being granted a work permit, while new signing Djamel Belmadi should also feature.

Nigel Quashie (thigh) and Dennis Wise (hamstring) are hopeful of playing but Marian Pahars (heel) and Neil McCann (Achilles) are absent.

Hoddle is expecting a hot reception from the Saints fans as he returns to his former club having made a positive impact at Wolves.

The Black Country side, though, could face Saints without two key players as both Paul Ince (knee) and Jody Craddock (calf) are aiming to shake off knocks.

Henri Camara will not play for Wolves as Hoddle is refusing to pick the striker until after the close of the transfer window, if the African is still at Molineux in September.
............
Stoke v Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday take an injury-hit squad to Stoke City for their return to Championship action.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock has a string of selection problems as he looks to get the club off to a winning start following their promotion from League One.

Steven MacLean is the most notable absentee for The Owls as the striker will be out for six months with a broken leg and knee ligament damage.

The visitors will also be without Drew Talbot (back), Barry Corr (thigh), John-Paul McGovern (back) and Lee Bullen (Achilles).

Leon Best, signed on loan from Southampton, will make his debut, while Graham Coughlan (back), Drissa Diallo (groin), Graeme Lee (virus) and Adam Proudlock (toe and virus) hope to recover from their various ailments.

Stoke also have injury worries, with Michael Duberry and Darel Russell both doubtful for Johan Boskamp's first game in charge.

Boskamp hopes to have the duo fit for the match at The Britannia Stadium but Russell, in particular, is not confident of shaking off a hamstring complaint.

Luke Chadwick will make his debut after signing on loan from West Ham, while Carl Hoefkens and Toddi Gudjonsson should shake off knocks to play.
....................
Watford v Preston

Adrian Boothroyd has a string of new signings to choose from as Watford play host to Preston North End.

The Hornets manager has been busy put the finishing touches to his squad this week, with Ben Foster and Darius Henderson both being snapped up.

Foster, who arrives on loan from Manchester United, should start in goal for Watford, although former Gillingham striker Henderson may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Fellow new signings Marlon King and Junior are tipped to start, while Jordan Stewart could be in the chosen XI.

Boothroyd is likely to have his other new recruits - Sietes, Adam Griffiths and Martin Devaney - on the bench as he waits on the fitness of James Chambers and Gavin Mahon.

Preston are looking to build on last season's play-off final defeat and manager Billy Davies has also been active in the transfer market.

Danny Dichio, Lewis Neal, David Jones, Joe Anyinsah and Dave Hibbert have all been brought to Deepdale and could feature against Watford.

But Davies will be without Matt Hill, who has a hamstring injury, and Andy Lonergan, who is still recovering from a cruciate ligament problem

Eli "pikkuisen" on meillä eroa näkemyksessä.

Cardiffin vuoden takaisesta avauskokoonpanosta on jäljellä riippuen laskutavasta 2-3 pelaaja. Jos avauskokoonpanosta vaihtuu edes 5 pelaaja on ihan sama ketä oikein tulee kun paketti menee heti sekaisin. Esim puolustuslinjasta vaihtui 3/4 ukkoa, keskikentältä vähän laskutavasta riipuen 3/4 ukkoa ja kärjestäkin lähti Leen rinnalta Earnshaw & Thorne veks.

Sanoisin että toi 40% on törkeän vähän vaikka Cardiff voittaisi tämän 0-5. Oma arvio 55 25 20 tähän eli sama kuin pjl.
