Everton:
Defender Nuno Valente could return to the side for the clash with Manchester United, but Nigel Martyn is a doubt with a groin injury.
The Portuguese international defender, Valente, has been out since October with a hamstring injury, but he came through a reserve match in mid-week and David Moyes is hoping he will be fit to play.
Martyn came off against Blackburn with a groin injury but a scan has shown that it was not as bad as at first feared although he remains a major doubt for the trip to Old Trafford.
Everton will not take any risks with Martyn and, if there is any doubt about the groin, his place will be taken by Richard Wright who is desperate to get a run in the side.
Moyes is hopeful that Valente will be fit to return, he said: "Hopefully Nuno will be ready. He played in the reserves with Per Kroldrup and Li Tie and they all came through.
"Like any other player who comes in it is not easy to settle, especially in a new culture and a new country's football but he was just starting to get there when his hamstring went," he told the club's website.(BBC,.eatsleepsport.com, Sky-Sport, Sporting Life, NewsNow, omat tilastot)
