Arsenal v Portsmouth


Dennis Bergkamp is back in contention for Arsenal after being rested for the 1-0 Boxing Day win over Charlton.

Robin van Persie (knee) is still unavailable, and also on the sidelines are Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy (foot).

Portsmouth will be without defender Linvoy Primus , out with a groin injury, and winger Laurent Robert(1maali+3syöttöä), , who was sent off against West Ham.

Skipper Dejan Stefanovic (knee) is struggling to be fit, while Vincent Pericard and Salif Diao are both out.

Fulham midfielder Papa Bouba Diop's(2m+1s) continuing ankle injury again rules him out of action.

A hamstring complaint may also force out Aston Villa striker James Milner(1m).

Sunderland have been boosted by the return of full-back Nyron Nosworthy after his one-match ban.

Defender Richard Dunne could earn a recall to Manchester City's starting line-up after coming on as a substitute in the 4-3 defeat at Wigan.

West Ham face further injury problems after Hayden Mullins, Tomas Repka and Danny Gabbidon limped off in the 1-1 Boxing Day draw against Portsmouth.

But Matthew Etherington(1m) and Paul Konchesky are expected to be available despite knocks in that game.

Wigan boss Paul Jewell has no fresh injury concerns for the match, saying there were only "one or two knocks" after the Manchester City win.
