Arsenal face a tricky trip to Lokomotiv Moscow knowing defeat would be a huge blow to their Champions League hopes.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could be without several key players for the game.

Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Sol Campbell and Dennis Bergkamp are out, but Ashley Cole and Martin Keown have been ruled fit to play.

Belgian defender Joos Valgaeren could be added to Celtic's squad but Sweden captain Johan Mjallby, Steve Guppy, Paul Lambert, Ulrik Laursen and Stephen Crainey are all injured. Celtic will look to Henrik Larsson for goals in a game that is poignant because of the horrific leg break the Swedish striker suffered against Lyon in a UEFA Cup encounter in October 1999.

Lyon showed their form with last weekend's 4-0 drubbing of Lens, their third successive win. Juninho and Eric Carriere are in outstanding form in the midfield and the attack is ably led by Giovane Elber, signed from Bayern Munich in the close season.

Defender Eric Deflandre missed the Lens match with a calf injury but should be fit, though midfielder Christophe Delmotte is out with a heel injury.

Anderlecht winger Christian Wilhelmsson will be out for at least six weeks after suffering a knee injury in Friday's 4-2 win at Heusden-Zolder.

Striker Aruna Dindane missed that game with 'flu and defender Oliver Deschacht was rested, but both are expected to play on Tuesday. Right back Olivier Doll is doubtful due to a thigh injury. England's Owen Hargreaves, who missed Saturday's laboured 2-1 Bundesliga win at Hansa Rostock due to 'flu and a sore calf, should be fit. With fellow midfielders Sebastian Deisler, Jens Jeremies and Mehmet Scholl all sidelined with injuries, he should also start.

Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto, who missed the Rostock game through suspension, should also return to action.

Dutch striker Roy Makaay, who scored both goals in Bayern's 2-1 win over Celtic in their Champions League opener and hit the winner in Rostock, is expected to be paired with Peru striker Claudio Pizarro up front. Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz, who scored Bayern's first goal on Saturday, should be handed an unusual midfield role. If he plays as expected Bayern keeper Oliver Kahn will appear in his 100th European club match.

Inter will be without central defender Marco Materazzi who picked up a thigh strain in Saturday's goalless draw at Udinese in Serie A so coach Hector Cuper will likely ask Ivan Cordoba to partner Fabio Cannavaro at the back, with Frenchman Jeremie Brechet taking over at left-back.

Argentine winger Kily Gonzalez, who sat out Saturday's game, will return on the left flank at the expense of Brazilian Luciano but Cuper will wait on the fitness of Christian Vieri. The striker could start from the bench after missing Inter's last four matches with a calf injury but will probably save a comeback for Sunday's Milan derby.

With Uruguayan Alvaro Recoba still short of full fitness, Argentine Julio Ricardo Cruz will continue to partner Obafemi Martins in attack.

The Ukrainian champions, who have already lost their international midfielder Andriy Husin for the rest of the year following thigh surgery last week, have other injury worries.

Croatian midfielder Jerko Leko and Brazilian striker Diogo Rincon are doubtful starters in Milan after both picked up injuries in a 4-0 thrashing of city rivals Obolon in a Ukrainian premier division match last Friday.

Lokomotiv Moscow, coming off an unconvincing 2-0 home win over Russian premier league strugglers Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz last Thursday, will be without suspended South African midfielder Jacob Lekgetho and Costa Rican striker Winston Parks, who is out for the rest of the year following a knee surgery.

Russian striker Maxim Buznikin has also been ruled out of the match in Moscow after picking up a leg injury in training.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has a combination of injured players and absentees after his side's 3-2 league win over Newcastle United on Friday. Skipper Patrick Vieira has been ruled out by a thigh muscle strain and fellow midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg misses the trip with an ankle sprain.

Monaco rested Spanish striker Fernando Morientes for Saturday's game against Toulouse, which the league leaders won 3-0. Midfielder Ludovic Giuly, also rested, came on as a second half substitute.

Midfielder Akis Zikos missed the game because of a knee injury but is expected to play against AEK Athens, his former club. He will probably take the place of Edouard Cisse, who scored against Toulouse and in the opening Champions League win against PSV Eindhoven.

DEPORTIVO CORUNA v PSV EINDHOVEN

Deportivo lost their 100 percent record and the leadership of the Primera Liga after slumping to a surprise 3-2 defeat at Osasuna at the weekend, shipping three goals in a nightmare four-minute spell in the first half.

They will be anxious to make amends with a first victory in this season's Champions League campaign when they host PSV Eindhoven at the Riazor on Tuesday.

Coach Javier Irureta's main concern is over the left back slot after first choice defender Enrique Romero sustained a hand injury in a bizarre incident prior to the Osasuna match.

The Spanish international was bitten on the hand by a snake at Pamplona airport and had to spend a night in hospital under observation. In-form striker Walter Pandiani is likely to get the nod over Diego Tristan up front.

PSV Eindhoven travelled to Spain after missing a hatful of chances in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by AZ Alkmaar, their first loss of the season.

But goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus said: "If you win 6-1 over Willem II or lose 1-0 against AZ says nothing how you will do in the Champions League. It would be different if we'd played badly, but I still believe that the match we played Saturday was the best we played this season."
