Arsenal face a tricky trip to Lokomotiv Moscow knowing defeat would be a huge blow to their Champions League hopes.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could be without several key players for the game.

Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Sol Campbell and Dennis Bergkamp are out, but Ashley Cole and Martin Keown have been ruled fit to play.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat at home to Italian side Inter Milan in their opening Group B game.

Having watched Arsenal's win over Newcastle, Lokomotiv coach Yury Syomin admits he is concerned about the threat posed by two-goal hero Thierry Henry.

Team news: Lokomotiv v Arsenal
"Arsenal really impressed me. They are playing top quality attacking style football," said Syomin.

"Henry is a true leader of the side. He's the kind of a forward that could be hardly stopped by any defence in the world.

"I still cannot decide how to neutralise him on Tuesday. I think the match with the Gunners will be not easy at all for us."

Celtic are at home to Lyon with forward Henrik Larsson sure to be fired up by the comments of his opposite number Giovane Elber, who has questioned the Swede's credentials.
------------------
CELTIC v OLYMPIQUE LYON

Belgian defender Joos Valgaeren could be added to Celtic's squad but Sweden captain Johan Mjallby, Steve Guppy, Paul Lambert, Ulrik Laursen and Stephen Crainey are all injured. Celtic will look to Henrik Larsson for goals in a game that is poignant because of the horrific leg break the Swedish striker suffered against Lyon in a UEFA Cup encounter in October 1999.

Lyon showed their form with last weekend's 4-0 drubbing of Lens, their third successive win. Juninho and Eric Carriere are in outstanding form in the midfield and the attack is ably led by Giovane Elber, signed from Bayern Munich in the close season.

Defender Eric Deflandre missed the Lens match with a calf injury but should be fit, though midfielder Christophe Delmotte is out with a heel injury.

Probable teams:

Celtic: 21-Magnus Hedman; 4-Jackie McNamara, 6-Dianbobo Balde, 23-Stanislav Varga; 8-Alan Thompson, 17-Didier Agathe, 18-Neil Lennon, 19-Stilian Petrov, 9-Chris Sutton; 10-John Hartson, 7-Henrik Larsson

Lyon: 1-Gregory Coupet; 2-Eric Deflandre, 3-Edmilson, 20-Patrick Mueller, 21-Anthony Reveillere; 4-Mickael Essien, 7-Mahamadou Diarra, 8-Juninho, 10-Eric Carriere; 14-Sydney Govou, 9-Giovane Elber.

ANDERLECHT v BAYERN MUNICH

Anderlecht winger Christian Wilhelmsson will be out for at least six weeks after suffering a knee injury in Friday's 4-2 win at Heusden-Zolder.

Striker Aruna Dindane missed that game with 'flu and defender Oliver Deschacht was rested, but both are expected to play on Tuesday. Right back Olivier Doll is doubtful due to a thigh injury. England's Owen Hargreaves, who missed Saturday's laboured 2-1 Bundesliga win at Hansa Rostock due to 'flu and a sore calf, should be fit. With fellow midfielders Sebastian Deisler, Jens Jeremies and Mehmet Scholl all sidelined with injuries, he should also start.

Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto, who missed the Rostock game through suspension, should also return to action.

Dutch striker Roy Makaay, who scored both goals in Bayern's 2-1 win over Celtic in their Champions League opener and hit the winner in Rostock, is expected to be paired with Peru striker Claudio Pizarro up front. Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz, who scored Bayern's first goal on Saturday, should be handed an unusual midfield role. If he plays as expected Bayern keeper Oliver Kahn will appear in his 100th European club match.

Probable teams:

Anderlecht: 1-Daniel Zitka; 14-Marc Hendrikx, 27-Vincent Kompany, 5-Glen De Boeck, 3-Olivier Deschacht; 15-Besnik Hasi, 10-Walter Baseggio; 19-Ivica Mornar, 21-Pär Zetterberg, 18-Ki-Hyeon Seol; 26-Aruna Dindane.

Bayern Munich: 1-Oliver Kahn; 4-Samuel Kuffour, 25-Thomas Linke, 5-Robert Kovac, 3-Bixente Lizarazu; 23-Owen Hargreaves, 13-Michael Ballack, 24-Roque Santa Cruz, 11-Ze Roberto; 14-Claudio Pizarro, 10-Roy Makaay.

INTER MILAN v DYNAMO KIEV
Inter will be without central defender Marco Materazzi who picked up a thigh strain in Saturday's goalless draw at Udinese in Serie A so coach Hector Cuper will likely ask Ivan Cordoba to partner Fabio Cannavaro at the back, with Frenchman Jeremie Brechet taking over at left-back.

Argentine winger Kily Gonzalez, who sat out Saturday's game, will return on the left flank at the expense of Brazilian Luciano but Cuper will wait on the fitness of Christian Vieri. The striker could start from the bench after missing Inter's last four matches with a calf injury but will probably save a comeback for Sunday's Milan derby.

With Uruguayan Alvaro Recoba still short of full fitness, Argentine Julio Ricardo Cruz will continue to partner Obafemi Martins in attack.

The Ukrainian champions, who have already lost their international midfielder Andriy Husin for the rest of the year following thigh surgery last week, have other injury worries.

Croatian midfielder Jerko Leko and Brazilian striker Diogo Rincon are doubtful starters in Milan after both picked up injuries in a 4-0 thrashing of city rivals Obolon in a Ukrainian premier division match last Friday.

Rincon, who scored both goals in a 2-0 home win over Lokomotiv Moscow in their Champions League opener, pulled a muscle and was substituted at halftime, while Leko was taken off on a stretcher with concussion eight minutes from time.

Probable teams:

Inter Milan: 1-Francesco Toldo; 4-Javier Zanetti, 17-Fabio Cannavaro, 2-Ivan Cordoba, 31-Jeremie Brechet; 7-Andy van der Meyde, 5-Belozoglu Emre, 6-Cristiano Zanetti, 18-Kily Gonzalez; 9-Julio Ricardo Cruz, 30-Obafemi Martins.

Dynamo Kiev: 1-Olexander Shovkovsky; 3-Serhiy Fyodorov, 6-Yuri Dmitrulin, 26-Andriy Nesmachny, 32-Goran Gavrancic; 2-Alexander Khatskevich 46, 8-Valentin Belkevich, 11-Georgi Peev, 17-Tiberiu Ghioane, 20-Oleg Husev; 16-Maxim Shatskikh.

LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW v ARSENAL

Lokomotiv Moscow, coming off an unconvincing 2-0 home win over Russian premier league strugglers Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz last Thursday, will be without suspended South African midfielder Jacob Lekgetho and Costa Rican striker Winston Parks, who is out for the rest of the year following a knee surgery.

Russian striker Maxim Buznikin has also been ruled out of the match in Moscow after picking up a leg injury in training.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has a combination of injured players and absentees after his side's 3-2 league win over Newcastle United on Friday. Skipper Patrick Vieira has been ruled out by a thigh muscle strain and fellow midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg misses the trip with an ankle sprain.

England defender Sol Campbell is not travelling, having missed training sessions following the death of his father, while Dutch striker Dennis Bergkamp's fear of flying prevents him leaving.

Consolation for Wenger on Monday was that defenders Ashley Cole and Martin Keown have both been passed fit following knocks against Newcastle.

Probable teams

Lokomotiv Moscow: 1-Sergei Ovchinnikov; 2-Gennady Nizhegorodov, 5-Sergei Ignashevich, 14-Oleg Pashinin, 16-Vadim Yevseyev, 17-Dmitry Sennikov; 7-Marat Izmailov, 8-Vladimir Maminov, 10-Dmitry Loskov, 28-Dmitry Khokhlov; 32-Mikheil Ashvetia.

Arsenal: 1-Jens Lehmann; 12-Lauren, 28-Kolo Toure, 5-Martin Keown, 3-Ashley Cole; 15-Ray Parlour, 19-Gilberto, 17-Edu, 7-Robert Pires; 11-Sylvain Wiltord, 14-Thierry Henry

MONACO v AEK ATHENS

Monaco rested Spanish striker Fernando Morientes for Saturday's game against Toulouse, which the league leaders won 3-0. Midfielder Ludovic Giuly, also rested, came on as a second half substitute.

Midfielder Akis Zikos missed the game because of a knee injury but is expected to play against AEK Athens, his former club. He will probably take the place of Edouard Cisse, who scored against Toulouse and in the opening Champions League win against PSV Eindhoven.

AEK need to improve on a 2-2 draw over the weekend against midtable Panionios after trailing 2-0.

Michalis Kasapis is expected to re-join the squad after getting the go-ahead from AEK coach Dusan Bajevic, following an injury that had kept him out since August 23. "I am well and I don't feel any pain," Kasapis said.

Probable teams:

Monaco: 30-Flavio Roma; 32-Gael Givet, 19-Sebastien Squillaci, 27-Julien Rodriguez, 3-Patrice Evra; 8-Ludovic Giuly, 15-Akis Zikos, 7-Lucas Bernardi, 25-Jerome Rothen; 10-Fernando Morientes, 24-Emmanuel Adebayor

AEK Athens: 22-Dionysis Chiotis; 2-Vassilis Borbokis, 5-Nikos Kostenoglou, 6-Thodoris Zagorakis, 8-Michel Kreek, 10-Vassilis Tsartas, 16-Nikos Georgeas, 21-Costas Katsouranis, 32-Michalis Kapsis, 33-Nikos Liberopoulos, 9-Yiannakis Okkas

DEPORTIVO CORUNA v PSV EINDHOVEN

Deportivo lost their 100 percent record and the leadership of the Primera Liga after slumping to a surprise 3-2 defeat at Osasuna at the weekend, shipping three goals in a nightmare four-minute spell in the first half.

They will be anxious to make amends with a first victory in this season's Champions League campaign when they host PSV Eindhoven at the Riazor on Tuesday.

Coach Javier Irureta's main concern is over the left back slot after first choice defender Enrique Romero sustained a hand injury in a bizarre incident prior to the Osasuna match.

The Spanish international was bitten on the hand by a snake at Pamplona airport and had to spend a night in hospital under observation. In-form striker Walter Pandiani is likely to get the nod over Diego Tristan up front.

PSV Eindhoven travelled to Spain after missing a hatful of chances in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by AZ Alkmaar, their first loss of the season.

But goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus said: "If you win 6-1 over Willem II or lose 1-0 against AZ says nothing how you will do in the Champions League. It would be different if we'd played badly, but I still believe that the match we played Saturday was the best we played this season."

Korean international Young-Pyo Lee (ankle) is the only doubtful player in Guus Hiddink's squad. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is expected to partner Mateja Kezman up front, instead of Ji-Sung Park.

Probable teams:

Deportivo: 1-Jose Molina; 24-Hector, 4-Noureddine Naybet, 14-Jorge Andrade, 3-Enrique Romero or 15-Joan Capdevila; 6-Mauro Silva, 8-Sergio, 18-Victor, 21-Juan Carlos Valeron; 7-Walter Pandiani, 19-Alberto Luque

PSV: 23-Ronald Waterreus; 20-Jurgen Colin, 2-Andre Ooijer, 5-Wilfred Bouma, 3-Young-Pyo Lee; 19-Dennis Rommedahl, 6-Mark van Bommel, 14-Johann Vogel, 11-Arjen Robben; 9-Mateja Kezman, 8-Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.

Referee: Claus Bo Larsen (Denmark)

OLYMPIAKOS v JUVENTUS

Olympakos go into the game after a workmanlike 3-1 victory at Xanthi over the weekend that left them second in the Greek table, a point behind leaders Panathinaikos. Olympiakos coach Oleg Protasov is worried about the fear factor on Tuesday, telling reporters: "Don't be scared, we all know Juventus are a great team but we can't let them eat us up.

Midfielder Neri Castillo's performance at Xanthi is expected to earn the 19-year-old a starting place in an attacking role.

French striker David Trezeguet has recovered from the ankle knock that kept him out of Juve's 2-0 win at Reggina in Serie A on Saturday but with Alessandro Del Piero out of action for several weeks he will be partnered by Marco Di Vaio in attack.

Lippi rested his entire first choice back-line at Reggio Calabria and will welcome back Nicola Legrottaglie to partner Paolo Montero in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Lippi is set to opt for a combative trio of Stephen Appiah, Edgar Davids and Alessio Tacchinardi with Czech Pavel Nedved pushed just behind the front two.

Probable teams:

Olympiakos: 22-Theofanis Katergiannakis; 3-Stylianos Venetidis, 14-Dimitrios Mavrogenidis, 19-Athanasios Kostoulas, 32-Giorgios Anatolakis; 5-Christian Karembeu, 1-Pantelis Kafes, 8-Giorgios Georgiadis, 6-Ieroklis Stoltidis, 11-Predrag Djordjevic, 10-Giovanni

Juventus: 1-Gianluigi Buffon; 21-Lilian Thuram, 23-Nicola Legrottaglie, 4-Paolo Montero, 19-Gianluca Zambrotta; 18-Stephen Appiah, 3-Alessio Tacchinardi, 26-Edgar Davids; 11-Pavel Nedved; 17-David Trezeguet, 20-Marco Di Vaio.

GALATASARAY v REAL SOCIEDAD
With no injuries or suspensions among first choice players, Turkey's Galatasaray are expected to field a line-up unchanged from the side that went down 2-1 at Juventus two weeks ago.

Fatih Terim's team come off a 2-0 away win away to Adanaspor on Friday and lie fourth in the Turkish first division, five points behind leaders Besiktas.

Sociedad made a winning return to European competition with a 1-0 win over Olympiakos in their opening Champions League Group D match, but lost their first Primera Liga game of the season with a narrow 1-0 defeat to neighbours Athletic Bilbao at the weekend.

Striker Darko Kovacevic, keeper Sander Westerveld and defender Aitor Lopez Rekarte all picked up minor knocks in a typically hard-fought derby clash, but should have no problems making the game in Istanbul.

Former Besiktas forward Nihat Kahveci looks to be back to his best as he returns to his home city to face old rivals Galatasaray, while skilful winger Javi de Pedro should return to the starting line-up after an impressive performance against Bilbao.

Probable teams:

Galatasaray: 1-Faryd Mondragon; 29-Cesar Prates, 3-Bulent Korkmaz, 5-Frank de Boer, 57-Hakan Unsal; 55-Sarioglu Sabri, 8-Joao Batista, 17-Fabio Pinto, 67-Ergun Penbe; 11-Hasan Sas, 10-Hakan Sukur

Real Sociedad: 25-Sander Westerveld; 14-Aitor Lopez Rekarte, 7-Igor Jauregi, 6-Gabriel Schurrer, 3-Agustin Aranzabal; 8-Valery Karpin, 18-Bittor Alkiza, 4-Xabi Alonso, 10-Javi de Pedro, 15-Nihat Kahveci, 9-Darko Kovacevic

Preview: West Brom v Millwall

Gary Megson expects to choose from an unchanged West Brom squad for the home clash with Millwall.

Albion are unaffected by suspensions or knocks meaning only long-term knee injury victims Larus Sigurdsson, Michael Appleton and Darren Moore are expected to be absent.

Millwall defender Kevin Muscat remains suspended for the trip.

He was dismissed for a stamp during the defeat at Watford and is serving a three-match ban.

Mark McGhee is set to stick with the side which fought back from a goal down to earn a draw against West Ham.

Abou Fofana is doubtful after receiving painkilling injections in his foot, but Paul Robinson could return to the squad after a wrist injury.

Preview: Cardiff v Wigan

Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence is poised to name an unchanged team for the clash with second-placed Wigan.

The Bluebirds have no injury worries, even though skipper Graham Kavanagh picked up a leg injury in the 3-0 win over Crewe.

The midfielder, however, completed the full 90 minutes and is fit to play.

Striker Peter Thorne, who continues to take pain killers for a neck strain, will also line-up for Cardiff, who remain without the injured John Robinson.

Wigan manager Paul Jewell has a slight doubt over Lee McCulloch.

McCulloch was substituted during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Coventry following a clash of heads.

Jason Jarrett replaced McCulloch after returning from a knee injury and could get the nod, while Stephen McMillan is again pushing for a place in the squad after recovering from a groin strain.

Preview: Sunderland v Ipswich

Sunderland are hoping stand-in skipper Paul Thirlwell can shake off a knock in time to play against Ipswich.

Joachim Bjorklund is set to start on the bench again as he battles back to fitness after a slight hamstring injury.

Skipper Jason McAteer is still on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, while full-back Stephen Wright is out with a calf strain.

Matt Piper remains on the long-term casualty list with knee ligament damage.

Ipswich hope to have on-loan midfielder Alan Mahon back.

Mahon, signed from Blackburn for three months, missed Saturday's 2-1 win at Watford with a groin injury.

Preview: Rotherham v Stoke

Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore will be without midfielder Stewart Talbot for the home game with Stoke.

Talbot serves a one-match suspension after being shown the yellow card five times this season.

Moore is also sweating on the fitness of Scott Minto who played through Saturday's 1-1 draw against Gillingham with a chest infection.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is likely to be without defenders Wayne Thomas and Clive Clarke.

Thomas and Clarke had to be replaced in the second half of the 1-0 defeat at West Brom with ankle and groin injuries respectively and are struggling to make the visit to Millmoor.

Chris Greenacre (calf) and Carl Asaba (knee) - who both missed the clash at The Hawthorns - are also major doubts and will be given until the last minute to prove their fitness.

Preview: Watford v Burnley

Watford midfielder Micah Hyde will miss the game against Burnley due to a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

He joins Heidar Helguson (knee), Richard Lee (broken arm), and Jason Norville (groin) on the treatment table.

Marcus Gayle is back after a knee injury and could be recalled to the starting line-up.

Burnley manager Stan Ternent is buoyed by the inclusion of Delroy Facey and Gareth Farrelly in his squad.

The duo are available after extending their loan spells from Bolton by a further month, while Clarets winger Glen Little remains at the Reebok Stadium.

Tony Grant, an unused substitute in Saturday's draw with Wimbledon, continues to struggle with a foot injury.

Preview: Bradford v Derby

Brazilian striker Junior has been ruled out of Derby's clash with Bradford at Valley Parade with a knee injury.

Junior scored his third goal of the season during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground but was later forced to limp out of the action after jarring the joint.

Now the striker is set to meet specialists and undergo further scans, with Izale McLeod coming in to replace him for the trip.

But Lee Holmes, another weekend casualty, has been passed fit, despite being carried off just four minutes into the derby.

Bradford boss Nicky Law has no new injury or suspension problems to address.

Jason Gavin suffered no reaction to a shoulder problem in the 2-1 defeat by Sheffield United and will retain his place

Preview: Wimbledon v Sheffield United

Rob Gier is doubtful for Wimbledon's second home match in Milton Keynes against Sheffield United because of a nose injury.

Lionel Morgan is likely to miss out after suffering a bruised leg in training.

Alex Tapp (hamstring) and Peter Hawkins (groin) are also rated doubtful.

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has no fresh injury worries.

Defender Robert Page is still sidelined with an ankle injury while Chris Morgan is a long-term absentee with a broken arm.

Preview: Norwich v Reading

Midfielder Kevin Harper is a major doubt for Norwich ahead of their clash with Reading.

He suffered a hamstring strain during the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

If the 27-year-old does not recover in time, then Nigel Worthington is almost certain to turn to Phil Mulryne, who came off the substitutes' bench to set up Malky Mackay's late winner against Palace.

Central midfielder Kevin Watson is now fully recovered from a rib injury and could be set for a return to the Reading side.

Caretaker manager Kevin Dillon may well start with Nicky Forster as a lone striker, which would mean Shaun Goater starts on the bench again.

Preview: Hartlepool v Wrexham

Hartlepool will still be without Adam Boyd for the home clash with Wrexham.

Boyd is still over a week away from making a return from a broken toe, and is not yet ready for full training.

Wrexham boss Denis Smith is likely to give Shaun Holmes a starting place.

Holmes, who had been struggling with a chest infection, set up the equaliser and then scored a terrific winning goal less than five minutes after coming off the bench in the 2-1 victory at Tranmere.

Paul Edwards played at Prenton Park after recovering from a similar infection, while Dennis Lawrence (toe) and Carlos Edwards (groin) both came through the Tranmere clash unscathed.

Craig Morgan is a serious doubt after a back problem kept him out of the match on Saturday, and Paul Whitfield could miss out again through a leg injury

Queens Park Rangers v Barnsley

QPR manager Ian Holloway has a selection headache for the visit of Barnsley as injuries start to bite at Loftus Road.

Top scorer Paul Furlong is suspended while Richard Edghill (thigh) and Kevin McLeod (leg) are both doubtful after limping out of the 1-1 draw with Bristol City.

Dan Shittu is out with a knee injury, while Tony Thorpe is struggling to recover from a bout of flu.

Barnsley manager Gudjon Thordarson looks likely to name an unchanged squad.

Peter Handyside was substituted as a precaution against Plymouth on Saturday after picking up a minor knock, but he is expected to be fit.

Midfielder Steve Hayward is still absent with a hamstring injury, while Isaiah Rankin has a similar problem and also looks likely to miss out, along with Alex Neil (groin

Preview: Plymouth v Bristol City

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock will wait on the fitness of French midfield ace David Friio ahead of his side's game against Bristol City.

Friio (calf) has missed Argyle's last two matches.

Sturrock reported no new injuries from Saturday's win over Barnsley and is likely to select from the same squad.

Defender Danny Coles will be missing from the Bristol City line-up through suspension.

Coles must serve a one-match ban after being sent off in the 2-0 win over Tranmere earlier this month.

But boss Danny Wilson is hoping to have striker Lee Peacock available again. He has missed the Robins' last four matches with ankle and hamstring problems.

Bournemouth

Striker Jamie Cade will be fit enough to resume his place in the Chesterfield starting XI against Bournemouth.

He had to be replaced on his debut against Brentford with a bad case of cramp.

The Spireites' injury problems have yet to ease as Steve Blatherwick (dead leg) and Chris Brandon (foot) reported new knocks after the defeat against Wally Downes' men.

David Reeves (calf), Glynn Hurst (back), Jez Mitchell (heel), Mark Smith (groin) and Caleb Folan (ankle) remain sidelined, but Alan O'Hare is back from an ankle knock and could return to action.

Bournemouth manager Sean O'Driscoll is anxiously awaiting news on the fitness of two key players.

Defender Karl Broadhurst is struggling with a shoulder injury sustained during Saturday's game at Colchester, while Marcus Browning was taken off at half-time in the same game complaining of a hamstring problem.

Defender Neil Young is still struggling with an ankle problem and will almost certainly fail to recover in time

Colchester United v Brentford

Colchester manager Phil Parkinson will be without Andy Myers for the clash with Brentford at Layer Road.

The defender, who made his comeback from a calf injury in Saturday's victory over Bournemouth, serves a one-match ban for his sending-off against Wycombe.

Wayne Andrews will lead the line again after suffering no adverse reaction to 73 minutes' action at the weekend, his first game since recovering from a hamstring problem.

Brentford manager Wally Downes could give a full debut to youngster Dean Wells in defence.

The 18-year-old is in contention because both Leo Roget and Ibrahima Sonko are ruled out.

Roget is serving the last match of a three-game ban, while Sonko is on international duty with Senegal.

Preview: Blackpool v Grimsby

Blackpool defender Gareth Evans will be absent when his side host Grimsby.

Evans was stretchered off after 25 minutes against Notts County and is waiting to discover the extent of a calf injury.

Defender Tommy Jaszczun is also missing with an ankle problem, but Leam Richardson is likely to be back in contention after recovering from a damaged ankle.

Grimsby player-boss Paul Groves will be without influential defender Marcel Cas, who sustained a nasty gash to both of his knees against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Fellow defender Simon Ford (hamstring) will also play no part while Jonathan Rowan remains on the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury against Swindon.

However, Phil Jevons is pushing for a place in the starting XI after the club reached an agreement with the player's former employers Everton over a financial clause in his contract.

Preview: Oldham v Stockport

Oldham manager Iain Dowie is likely to keep faith with the side that beat Luton for the clash with Stockport at Boundary Park.

Young winger Carlos Roca, who has made four appearances this season, is added to the squad but Dowie will make no other changes.

Dean Holden plays his last match before a one-game ban incurred for five yellow cards.

Stockport caretaker-manager John Hollins is again likely to be without three players for the encounter at Oldham.

Ali Gibb and Rob Clare missed the weekend draw at Rushden with groin and thigh injuries respectively and, despite recovering well, are not expected to be passed fit.

Luke Beckett's long-term knee injury keeps him on the sidelines.

Preview: Port Vale v Peterborough

Port Vale manager Brian Horton may once again be without Michael Walsh and Michael Cummins for the league leaders' home clash with Peterborough.

Defender Walsh and utility man Cummins missed the disappointing 1-1 draw with Wycombe on Saturday after suffering recurrences of stomach and knee injuries respectively during the previous weekend's win at Bristol City.

Barry Fry is likely to name an unchanged Peterborough team.

Defender Simon Rea plays his last game before beginning a two-match suspension, while striker Andrew Fotiadis is still sidelined with a thigh injury.

A club spokesman said: "Barry has no new injury worries after the game at Swindon on Saturday."

Posh surrendered their unbeaten away record with a 2-0 defeat at the County Ground at the weekend and they will be keen to steady the ship against Vale.

Preview: Rushden & Diamonds v Brighton

Rushden manager Brian Talbot is expected to name an unchanged side for the visit of Brighton to Nene Park.

With no new injury concerns, he is likely to keep faith with the team that twice came from behind to earn a draw against Stockport on Saturday.

Ritchie Hanlon, recently recovered from a knee injury, is again omitted from the squad despite nearing full fitness, but non-contract signing Paul Kitson is pushing for a first start.

Brighton boss Steve Coppell is sweating on the fitness of skipper Danny Cullip.

The influential defender limped out of Saturday's goalless draw at Hartlepool with a calf injury.

Utility player Zesh Rehman goes straight into the squad after signing on a month's loan from Fulham.

Preview: Tranmere v Wycombe

Tranmere caretaker-manager John McMahon has promised changes for the clash with Wycombe, his first match in charge since Ray Mathias' sacking.

Graham Allen and Ian Sharps are unavailable - Allen serves a one-match ban for his sending-off against Bristol City, while Sharps faces six weeks on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.

Wycombe manager Lawrie Sanchez will be forced to make at least one change to his side.

Stuart Roberts is starting a three-match ban so Andy Bell, signed on a three-month contract last week, comes in.

Jermaine McSporran misses his third game with an ankle injury, while Craig Faulconbridge is still out with a knee problem.(Ananova, BBC, Yahoo)
