Chievo keskittyy vain ja ainoastaan Lazio´n kiinni ottamiseen loppukaudella kun taas Interillä oli ukkoja maaotteluissa mukana ja 18.2:tta pelaavat Barcelonaa vastaan Champions League´n matsin vieraissa eli keskittyminen onko se nyt täysin 100%´sta?(sputnikilla varmaan sana sanottavana?). Jos ja kun Vieri on sivussa niin hänelle ei korvaajaa kyllä löydy.

Juventuksen Milan"chase" kiivaimmillaan eli tappiota ei mistään hinnasta . Lisäksi kannattaa huomata sellainen että Parma on kahdessa viime pelissään päästänyt kaksi maalia omiin Comoa & Udineseä (Como´n Caccia missasi vielä rankkarin & Udinese´n Pizarro myös)vastaan ja nyt on "taas" puolustuksesta pari pakkia sivussa (Benarrivo & Junior) eli Juventuksellekin tulee varmasti maalipaikkoja?.
Vaikka Di Vaio ei ole Del Piero´n veroinen "taiteilija" niin kyllä hänkin namin pussiin panee kun tilaisuus tulee.....X?......no bet for me anyway.

Vieraiden maalitussarikaksikko Vryzas-Miccoli on hirvittävässä vireessä ja siitä osoituksena Miccoli pelasi ensimmäisen ottelunsa maajoukkueessa Portugalia vastaan(koko ottelun). Perugia on kyllä luvattoman huono vieraissa mutta ei se Empolikaan ole loistanut kotiareenalla, tasaisempaa mitä kertoimet antavat ymmärtää.

Chievon kannalla ollaan täälläkin.Inter pelannut hienosti mutta loukkaantumiset vaivaat ja ensi viikolla CL peli...

Inter on mm viidestä vikasta voittanut neljä,kotona 2-0 Modenasta (surkea), kotona 3-0 Empolista (surkea), vieraissa 2-0 Torinosta (surkea) ja 3-0 Regginasta (surkea)...tappio 1-4 vieraissa Perugialle.Öh, siis tarkoitan tällä sitä että ei ole kohdanuut edes Chievon tasoisia paitsi siis Perugian joka lähimpänä Chievoa noista...

Chievosta sen verran että sijoittui viime kaudella sijalle 6 ja tällekkin kaudelle monet rankkasivat sijoille 7-9, tällä hetkellä sijalla 5, eli hyvin menee...

AC Milan, Lazio in title challenge clash

MILAN, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Serie A title challengers AC Milan and Lazio come face to face at the San Siro stadium on Sunday both hoping to get their form back on track having stumbled in recent weeks.

Last week's 1-0 defeat at Perugia was Milan's second successive loss on the road and resulted in rivals Inter taking over sole command of the top spot, while Lazio's draw at home to Torino was their third match without a win and left them trailing the leaders by seven points.

Milan have struggled to recapture their explosive form from the first half of the season with constant changes in personnel and tactics appearing to knock them out of their stride.

Remarkably for a side containing such proven goalscorers as Filippo Inzaghi and Andriy Shevchenko, Milan have lacked firepower in recent weeks and coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to revert to a one-striker formation, with either Shevchenko or Inzaghi backed by a flexible five-man midfield.

The return to fitness of Brazilian winger Serginho should provide the width and change of pace that were sorely lacking against Perugia but his compatriot Rivaldo, having just returned from a friendly with Brazil in China, is likely to start on the bench with Portugal's Rui Costa handed the main playmaker's berth.

For all the talk of a need for change at Milan, Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf said that it was vital that the team stuck to the distinctive attacking approach which made them title favourites before Christmas.

'It is all right to change the players around but it would be a shame to change the philosophy. Milan chose a new road and I believe a lot in the philosophy of change. We at Milan have always said that we want to play attractive football...and with good play the results come more easily,' said Seedorf. Lazio are without suspended Portuguese defender Fernando Couto. CHIEVO (5) v INTER MILAN (1) Leaders Inter are hoping that leading goalscorer Christian Vieri recovers from a knock to his knee in time to take on Chievo. If the Italy striker fails to make it Alvaro Recoba will move forward into attack to partner Gabriel Batistuta who had a two-match ban overturned this week. Last season's fixture ended in a 2-2 draw and Inter will need to keep a close eye on the pace of Brazilian winger Luciano.

ATALANTA (13) v UDINESE (6) Atalanta have picked up 12 points from their last six games while Udinese are making a surprise push for a UEFA Cup qualification spot in contrast to last season's relegation battle. Atalanta will be without striker Gianni Comandini but Udinese will need to watch out for Alex Pinardi, who has emerged as one of the young finds of the season.

EMPOLI (12) v PERUGIA (9) Perugia are on a high after their 1- 0 win over Milan last week and the Italy debut of their highly-rated striker Fabrizio Miccoli. Empoli have managed just two wins at home this season and need to improve that record if they are not to get dragged into a relegation fight.

PARMA (7) v JUVENTUS (2) This game given added spice by the presence of a trio of ex-Parma favourites in the Juventus line-up -- goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, defender Lilian Thuram and striker Marco Di Vaio, who is expected to start in the absence of the injured Alessandro Del Piero. Inconsistency has been the bane of Parma's season but in Romanian Adrian Mutu and Brazilian Adriano they have a strike force that even the champions will be wary of.

PIACENZA (16) v BOLOGNA (8) New Piacenza coach Gigi Cagni takes to the bench for the first time as he aims to turn around a season which looks to be heading dangerously close to relegation. Bologna have still to register a win on the road.

REGGINA (15) v COMO (17) A relegation six-pointer between two sides who have finally begun to show signs of a revival with some impressive performances of late. Both clubs recruited new faces during the transfer window with Reggina striker Emiliano Bonazzoli and Como's Nicola Amoruso both making swift impacts.

AS ROMA (10) v BRESCIA (11) It would have been hard to imagine at the start of the season that just a point would separate these two clubs in February but Roma's ropy form and Brescia's battling qualities make this a mid-table encounter. Spanish midfielder Pep Guardiola has a point to prove to Roma coach Fabio Capello having just ended a brief and miserable spell at the capital by returning on loan to Brescia.

TORINO (18) v MODENA (14) Torino's 1-1 draw at Lazio last week was impressive but they badly need to start picking up points if they are to avoid another return to Serie B. Modena also drew with opponents from the capital last week but Diomansy Kamara, scorer in the 1-1 draw with AS Roma, is suspended for the trip to Turin.

Peräpään kamppailu, jossa hieman piristyneet joukkueet kohtaa. Reggina on voittanut 3 viimeistä kotimatsia (Piacenza, Bologna, Perugia). Como on kyllä hanakka pelaa tasureita, mutta luotetaan kotivoittoon.

Itselläni tuo peli eräässä tuplassa mukana tuloksilla 1-0 ja 2-0 joten samoilla linjoilla ollaan. Ihme on jos Como kykenee edes maalin tekemään.
Tähän mennessä onnistunut 10 vieraspelissä vain neljästi, tosin omiinkaan ei ole mennyt kuin 13. Tasurivaara mutta kotivoitto silti.
