No niin, veikkaus pudotti Cityn kertoimia maailmalla levinneiden juttujen perusteella Arsun kokoonpanosta...
Kevin Keegan will hand debuts to Jonathan D'Laryea and Nedum Onuoha against Arsenal in the Carling Cup.
The duo has already been in the squad but have yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
Nineteen year old Jonathan D'Laryea was added to the City squad for the trip to Newcastle on Sunday but was not included in the final sixteen.
Now the midfielder, who has been putting in impressive performances in the reserves for whom he has scored two goals, will get his chance against the Premiership Champions.
Nedum Onuoha was on the substitute’s bench for the win against Chelsea. The teenager has been playing at right back for the second string but is set to take up a central defensive position in the Carling Cup and could replace Richard Dunne.
Willo Flood will make his second start in a City shirt. He scored his first goal for the club in the last round of the competition when he made his home debut.
Along with Bradley Wright-Phillips (joo, se on sen veli...) who is likely to be on the bench the boss will have four Academy players in the squad.
"We are still able to put out a very strong team. I'm going to give Jonathan D'Laryea a start in midfield," explained the manager.
"He deserves it because he has done well in the reserves and Nedum will come in at the back.
"We will have four Academy kids in and I dare say Arsenal will, too. I have had to make changes."
The boss admits that injuries and the size of the squad has forced his hand to include the younger players.
But he is quick to stress that they were always going to get their chance it has just happened earlier than expected.
"I have always played my strongest side whenever possible. But it gives me a chance to look at Shaun Wright-Phillips with Robbie Fowler up front and it gives me a chance to look at the youngsters.
"Make no mistake and put aside the problems we have got, these kids are going to make it anyway. It just maybe a little bit quicker than most people anticipated."
Arsenal will ring the changes from the side which were defeated at Old Trafford on Sunday. Despite the changes the manager knows it will be a tough encounter.
"It's very difficult for me to try and pretend that the Arsenal that will come up here will be the same as the one that played at Old Trafford on Sunday.
"But what we do know is whatever team Arsenal put out, you have got plenty to beat.
"They got to the semi-final of this competition playing what most people would call their fringe players, their occasional players
"For us it represents a chance to win a trophy. For Arsenal, this is fourth in their list of priorities.
"Nevertheless, they will want to come and beat us and show exactly how strong their club is."
Ohessa vielä uutinen Arsenalin junnupelaajista:
Included in Wenger's squad is 17-year-old striker Arturo Lupolis, who has made a huge impression at Highbury since his arrival from Parma. Lupoli had a taste of the first-team during a pre-season tour of Austria when the squad were depleted by the late return of players involved in the European Championships.
The teenager is deceptively strong and mature for his years. He has already scored four goals for Arsenal's Under-18 team but tonight will be his biggest test yet. Wenger, who has used the competition to successfully blood youngsters in the past, feels Lupoli can handle the occasion.
He visibly bristles at the suggestion he is fielding a reserve team. "Not a reserve team - a younger team," he said.
Although young, Wenger's team will still be laced with experience. But if there is one player who has more motivation than most it is Jermaine Pennant, who is beginning to show the application to go with his undoubted talent.
Wenger cannot believe the transformation in Pennant. At the start of the season he challenged the England Under-21 winger to show he warranted an extension to his contract that expired at the end of this season.
At centre-back tonight will be Philippe Senderos. The 19-year-old Swiss Under-21 international has endured a miserable time with injury and virtually missed the whole of his first season following his £500,000 move from Servette. He will be anxious to make the most of his opportunity.
Another player in the squad is Mathieu Flamini, a 20-year-old signed from Marseille who has Ray Parlour-type qualities. Dutchman Robin van Persie will also have the chance to show why he rated the natural successor to his compatriot Dennis Bergkamp, while Ryan Smith can prove he is making progress as a front player of the future.
Francesc Fabregas is in line for a call-up after sitting out the game on Sunday. Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, a summer signing from Celta Vigo, will make his first-team debut after recovering from an ankle injury. His experience will be vital, as will that of Pascal Cygan, who is the probable partner for Senderos in central defence.
Provisional squad: Almunia, Taylor, Hoyte, Cygan, Senderos, Karbassiyoon, Pennant, Flamini, Fabregas, Smith, van Persie, Owusu Abeyie, Skulason, Larsson, Stack.
