They say that if you are wise you learn from other`s mistakes, but if you are stupid you can`t learn even from your own mistakes. Looks like bookies need few more lessons before they start learning what should be a fair over/under lines for the Magic games.
The Pistons are an offensive team and this isn`t a joke here as they average 99.35 points per game, which is leagues 8th record overall in this season. Even more impressive is their homecourt average 106.7 points per game. Their new head-coach Flip Saunders doesn't mind faster shots and open games at both ends. Detroit scores more points, but also opens up it`s game more at the defensive end. With their starting five having no serious injuries and starting in all games this year, they have found their offensive rhythm and scoring more than 100 points per game hardly is a problem.
Once again bookies take only teams averages to set the o/u line. Orlando averages 89.8 points so along with Detroit average they should score 189 points tonight. But as said in our previous predictions Grant Hill adds a lot of offensive power to the Magic and makes the team to play more fun and more open games. Over the last 8 games when Hill has been playing the Magic has scored 99 points as an average and have gone over tonight`s line 6 out of 8 times.
After losing their last game to the Cavaliers the Pistons will try to bounce back tonight. They have too many weapons against the Magic`s defense, so we expect them to rip it apart right from the start. Orlando hopes to match Detroit`s scoring by pushing the ball and trying to keep up with scoring. Over/under line is yet again set ~10 points lower for the Magic game, so we take it with medium+ stakes.
