Rockets -5
NBA teams can have good days and bad days and then there are extremely awful days like the Rockets (12-6) had 2 days ago against the T`Wolves. Their 2 main scoring options T-Mac and Yao didn’t arrive to the game. Yes, they were on the court, but their presence rather did harm than any good for the team. T-Mac shot 5-21 from the field and had 5 turnovers while Yao shot 5-19 from the field and had 7 turnovers. Yet still the Rockets were in a close fight with the T`Wolves and had a chance to tie the game in the final minutes. This game will probably go down as the worst two superstars performance together in this season. Like T-Mac later commented it was just one of those nights and that they won`t have many of them again.
The Bobcats (5-13) have a lot of heart, but that’s about everything they have. They are dead last in the Eastern Conference. They lose their games by 10,2 points as an average and from their 13 losses they have lost only once less than 5 points. As mentioned before in our previews, the Bobcats are strong enough to keep games close (and sometimes to win them) if they meet opponents who underestimate them. Knowing the situation they can`t rely on that today though and will face tough times like 2 days ago against the Spurs, when they lost by 20 points.
If there are 2 guys today that want to prove something to the world tonight, they are Yao and T-Mac. For the strong teams the key against the Bobcats is the motivation. Coming from awful performance and loss against the T`Wolves, we look the Rockets (especially T-Mac and Yao) to have a serious attidute and try to make an early statement, who owns this game. Spread line –5 points looks to be too low for the game that most probably will end with 2 digital win for the Rockets. Medium+ stakes!
