MIL vs DET
(take DET -4.5)

Detroit won 16 of their final 19 regular-season games and everybody thought this postseason thing against Milwaukee would be a piece of cake. Detroit crushed the Bucks, 108-82, in Game 1 but after that they lost respect for the Bucks. Big mistake!

Milwaukee produced a small miracle, when they managed to won Game 2. However it should be no surprise that the Bucks came back and played a lot better (after all, they were embarrassed in the opener). They played solid team game both offensively and defensively. Game 1, Milwaukee was out rebounded, 52-38, and committed 25 turnovers that led to 28 points for Detroit. In Game 2, the Bucks held a 48-37 rebounding edge and cut the turnovers to 20.

Game 2 was definitely a wakeup call for the Pistons. Now they've lost home-court advantage as they head back to Milwaukee. Actually, this kind of defeat is good for a team like Detroit, especially when it has hopes of reaching the championship round. If nothing else, it will help the Pistons refocus on the mission at hand.

All the Pistons were angry at the way they played in Game 2 what will surely make them more focused for Game 3. With Wallace & Wallace here, Milwaukee will have difficulties by handling Detroit's inside game. Expect coach Brown finding ways to exploit Rasheed Wallace’s obvious edge in the low post. Rasheed needs to get the ball inside because Milwaukee doesn’t have an answer for him.

Don't expect the Pistons to play two bad games in a row, especially now that they know they have to work to win this series. Detroit will be more focused in Game 3 because Milwaukee got their attention. Bookies offer -4.5 as a handicap for Detroit. Take it with medium stakes.
