NBA 5.11
Lähetetty:
76ers vs Suns
take Suns @2.05
For both teams it is their second game of the year. Philadelphia won Boston 98-95, Iverson scored 30 points and 76ers had a furious fourth-quarter rally to beat Celtics in late stages of the game (Philly won last quarter 27-12!!!). At the same time Phoenix had a quite an easy ride beating the Hawks 112-82. If we look at preseason stats then Phoenix was 7-1 and Philadelphia 6-2.
Although Philadelphia has shown a lot of heart lately, there are no doubts that the team is still in search of their “real” play. Last years surprise Samuel Dalembert has been out of form - so he lost his “starting five” spot and got only 14 minutes to play against Boston. Glenn Robinson is being moved to injured list and Philadelphia seriously wants to trade him so as it has been in most of the time in recent years there is one and only guy for Philadelphia to rely their hopes – Allen Iverson.
Phoenix Suns has been magnificent since they got Steve Nash (and it is not a surprise). They not only have won preseason games, but they have washed away their opponents in most of them. Well, meeting against Atlanta was really oneway road right from the start. Suns starters played only 25-30 minutes cause there was no need to give out more effort. Still Amare Stoudemire scored 23, Joe Johnson 17 and Nash 12 points.
Phoenix seems to be on top of things right now, while 76ers still struggles to connect all the players. What will scare Philadelphia most is the fact that they really don’t have enough power to match Phoenix`s low post – Stoudemire, Marion and Richardson. Expect Suns big man to rule the rebounding and score many points. Bookies offer Suns to win with odds 2.05 – take it with medium stakes!
