Cleveland vs Phoenix
Looks like losing Carlos Boozer in this offseason affects Cleveland more than they have hoped it will. LeBron and co. started the season with 3 straight losses to Indiana, Miami and Milwaukee. Yes, they won last night their first game of the year, but it was against one of the weakest teams in the league – Atlanta Hawks. The game was tight for 3 quarters with Atlanta winning 1st half by 2 and losing after 3rd quarter by 4 points, so Cleveland was forced to use LeBron, McInnis and Ilgauskas, almost entire game. It sure is hard to play a day-to-day game after giving out such a high number of minutes.
Phoenix at the same time is cruising past its opponents. Yet another easy win came against Chicago with 94-74 last night. Phoenix won 1st half 21-9 and had no problems to secure the game thereafter. All starters played slightly over 30 minutes, so they should be fresh enough for tonights game against Cleveland. Suns have now advanced to 4-0 record (their best start for 10 years) and they look for yet another impressive win against Cavs.
This will be a day-to-day game for both of the teams. Cleveland had much tougher game last night and their players must feel a bit tired tonight. Phoenix has more depth and they can use 10-11 players without the problem, while Cleveland played only 9 players last night. Expect sharp and hot Suns to move past shaky Cavaliers probably with their usual 2 digit margin. Betandwin offers –4.0 as a line for Suns. Take it with medium stakes!
