Smigun - Shevchenko 2 3.05 (expekt) (4/10)

I don´t understand this at all. Shevchenko is good at classic style and she won the only competition with that style so far. She was also second in last free style mass start competition, so her form seems to be very good. Centre and uni give 2.50 and in my opinion even that is enough for betting. Anyway I won´t put any bigger stake because weather conditions have been quite difficult in the Central Europe lately and it can have a major effect on results. But I´d give at least 40% for Shevchenko.

Pedersen - Kuitunen 2 2.15 (expekt) (5/10)

Kuitunen has been in positions around top ten almost in every competition. Still she has said that her form hasn´t been best possible and better is coming. She is also better in classic style. In Kuusamo she won Pedersen by 0.7 secs and in Beitostölen´s relay she was 8 secs faster than Norwegian. Pedersen is former ski-orienteerer and she is better in free style. All together, I consider Kuitunen a slight favourite (or at least 50-50) and so this is also quite a good bet.
