Viime Vans Trophyn kierroksella Hull aiheutti harmaita hiuksia kun se meni ja voitti Darlingtonin 3-1 pelissä, jota sen ei todellakaan pitänyt voittaa. En varmaan ollut ainoa silloin joka tuota tulosta kirosi. Scunthorpe on alkanut päästä heikon alkukauden jälkeen oikealle raiteelle ja murhasi Huddersfieldin peräti 6-2 lauantaina. Joukkueessa on potentiaalia parempaan ja olen samaa mieltä koneen kanssa: 4,15 on liikaa vierasvoitolle. Scunthorpe on joukkueista paremmassa iskussa ja sillä on 6 viim. vieraspelistä 1 tappio (2-3-1), ja 6 pelistä yleensä 1 tappio (3-2-1). 5 viim. pelistä taas Hull on 4:ssä hävinnyt laukaukset ja edellinen peli kotona Macclesfieldiä vastaan ei ollut mikään mestarisuoritus.

Pikaisesti katsottuna noi Peterboroughin prosentit näyttää aika mielenkiintoisilta, ja joukkue on nyt pelannut 10 kotipeliä tällä kaudella ilman voittoa. Oliskohan ainut liigajoukkue millä ei kotivoittoa vielä ole? Brentford on ollut viime peleissään hyvä kotonaan, mutta vieraissa se ei ole ihmeempiä esittänyt. Mielestäni Peterboroughilla olisi tässä saumat ottaa se kauden avausvoitto ja alkaa pikkuhiljaa palata omalle tasolleen. Tai edes sinne päin.

Carlisle boss Paul Simpson has been hit by a mini injury crisis ahead of the LDV Vans Trophy game with Huddersfield.
Goalkeeper Matt Glennon, defenders Brian Shelley and Will McDonagh as well as striker Ritchie Foran all have flu.

Huddersfield boss Peter Jackson will be without midfielder Tony Carss who has damaged his knee ligaments.

Midfielder John Worthington should return from suspension while striker Jon Stead is expected to be fully fit after sustaining a dead leg.


Hull v Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe midfielder Richard Kell could return to the starting eleven after seving a three-match ban.
Mark Jackson and Steve Torpey both play their last matches for the Iron before beginning one and three-match bans respectively.

Hull manager Peter Taylor is expected to rest most of his first-choice players for the LDV Vans Trophy tie.

Ian Ashbee will serve the second game of his two-match suspension while Alton Thelwell misses out with a foot injury.

Lincoln v Chesterfield

Lincoln striker Simon Yeo is doubtful for the LDV Vans Trophy tie after suffering a bruised foot on Saturday.
Francis Green is also a concern after he suffered concussion during the 2-0 win over Carlisle but on-loan defender Matt Carbon is back in contention.

Chesterfield boss Roy McFarland welcomes back Ian Evatt after his one-match suspension.

Defender Kevin Dawson is pushing for a start at Sincil Bank after recovering from a groin strain

Brighton v Boston

Brighton boss Mark McGhee must do without midfielder Zesh Rehman who has returned to Fulham after his loan spell at the Withdean stadium.
Defender Danny Cullip is also missing after suffering a back injury in Saturday's draw with Peterborough.

Boston boss Neil Thompson will be without Tom Bennett (suspended), Graeme Jones (knee) and Stuart Balmer (family bereavement) for the Trophy tie.

Neil Redfearn is back in contention after recovering from illness.


Hereford v Northampton

Hereford manager Graham Turner expects to name an unchanged squad for the LDV Vans Trophy match against Northampton.
Midfielder Paul Parry is still on the sidelines with an ankle injury while long-term absentee Andy Tretton has not yet recovered from his thigh problem.

On-loan defender Chris Doig has been recalled by Nottingham Forest and so will not be available for Northampton.

Peter Clark (foot), Ashley Westwood (shoulder), Tom Youngs, Jeremy Gill and Paul Reid (all knee) remain sidelined.

Peterborough v Brentford

Peterborough manager Barry Fry has two key absentees for the home tie.
Defender Sagi Burton sits out the second game of his three-match suspension while striker Andy Clark has a groin strain.

Brentford boss Wally Downes is set to field a changed side with defender Leo Roget injured and on-loan Leicester striker Tommy Wright likely to return.

With regular goalkeepers Paul Smith and Alan Julian nursing back injuries, Danny Naisbitt could start.


Plymouth v Wycombe

Argyle boss Paul Sturrock must decide between Finnish keeper Jani Viander or Luke McCormick for a place between the posts against Wycombe.
Steve Adams (ankle) is an injury doubt but fellow midfielder Jason Bent passed a late fitness test to replace him.

Wycombe caretaker manager John Gorman will be without striker Gavin Holligan who limped out of the 2-0 defeat at Swindon with a calf injury.

Fellow forward Craig Faulconbridge is the only other injury problem.


QPR v Dag & Red

QPR midfielder Marc Bircham could miss the LDV Vans Trophy match after suffering from a back spasm.
Striker Paul Furlong (hip) and defender Dan Shittu (knee) also stay on the sidelines.

QPR goalkeeping coach Tony Roberts will switch allegiance and play for Dagenham and Redbridge.

Daggers boss Gary Hill is set to field an unchanged side for the trip to Loftus Road as Jimmy Jackson has not fully recovered from an ankle injury.

Rushden's Paul Evans will continue to deputise in goal for Brian Talbot who remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Scarborough midfielder Scott Kerr faces a race to be fit after picking up a knock at the weekend.
Sheffield United have give on-loan duo Colin Cryan and Ashley Sestanovich permission to play for the Seadogs.

Halifax boss Chris Wilder is set to include James Dudgeon in his squad after he completed a one-match ban.

Striker Lewis Killeen is also available after recovering from a back injury which has ruled him out for the last two games.


Swansea v Southend

Swansea midfielder Leon Britton joins a growing injury-list as he is struggling to overcome a back injury.
Lee Trundle, Roberton Martinez (both knee), Brad Maylett (hamstring) and Karl Connolly (broken ankle) are all sidelined for the Vetch Field tie.

Southend will be without defender Duncan Jupp for the trip to Swansea as he has both thigh and groin problems.

Jamie Stuart, Jamie Fullarton, Steven Clark, Mark Warren and Leke Odunsi also miss the Trophy match.


Yeovil v Colchester

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson welcomes back Portugese defender Hugo Rodrigues from a one-match ban.
But Town skipper Terry Skiverton and Gavin Williams both face late fitness tests after suffering dead legs.

Colchester boss Phil Parkinson has no new injury worries for the Trophy trip to Huish Park.

Midfielder Kemal Izzet is expected to recover from a knock picked up at the weekend but on-loan defender Liam Chilvers (calf) could stay sidelined.

Plymouth vaikuttaa aika varmalle pelille heikkoa Wycombea vastaan. Conferencessa hyvin menestynyt Hereford näyttäisi suosikille 3.divarin Northamptonia vastaan kotonaan. Todennäköisesti Hull voittaa kotonaan ja Plymouth häviää pelaten kakkosmiehistöllä
