"Sometimes the bookies get it wrong. They would be the first to admit it. After all, gambling is about opinions and their odds are just that - accurate opinions.

But this week I think there is one game where they have got it catastrophically wrong. Get on it before they realise that they are giving away 4.0 (Bet 365) on Leeds United beating Manchester City on Monday night.

The last time I looked Kevin Keegan was at the top of a very short list of Premiership managers who, experts believe, are not long for the push - and rightly so.

Since a red-letter week at the end of October when they comprehensively beat Bolton (6-2), Southampton (2-0) and QPR (3-0), they have looked relegation fodder in succumbing to all and sundry.

They crashed out of the UEFA and Carling cups and meekly surrendered to Leicester (0-3), Newcastle (0-3), Middlesbrough (0-3) and Manchester United (1-3) prior to Monday's match with Leeds United.

And they have looked awful in the interim.

On the other hand, things are looking up for Leeds. They hit rock bottom at the beginning of November when a 6-1 defeat by Portsmouth took them to the foot of the table. But since then they have only lost to Bolton, who beat Chelsea at the weekend.

The form is there for all to see with wins over Charlton (1-0), Fulham (3-2) and a very good draw against Chelsea (1-1) when they led for most of the game.

Only a fool would back Manchester City (1.90 at William Hill) - and Leeds are excellent value to land an early Christmas present for punters."

Sarjassamme "vaikeita matseja arvioida". Leedsillä uusi valmentaja, joka on saanut joukkueen pieneen nousukiitoon, tosin enemmän vaikutusta tähän lienee Radeben ja Duberryn kuntoutumisella. Uusi valkku ei tässä pelissä ole kuitenkaan penkin päässä henkilökohtaisista syistä.

Vaikka materiaaliltaan Leeds on parempi, City on ollut esityksissään varmempi, eikä viimeaikainen tupelointi loputtomiin voi jatkua. Unibet antaa uskomattoman kertoimen Cityn puoliaikajohdolle, ja kun vielä Cityllä on tapana hyökätä rohkeasti, jolloin Leeds pääsee iskemään vastaiskuin, niin overiakin joutuu pelaamaan.
