Everybody's ranting and raving Devils's revenge here, and it surely helps them to motivate to this
game, but enough's enough. Isles are not this much weaker than odds suggest. Not even without Yashin.

Washington - Boston ML 1 54% 2.00 Gamebookers

Capitals face the struggling Bruins and these teams seem to go opposite directions. Caps have improved
signically after coach Cassidy was replaced by Glenn Hanlon. Even they are outshot almost every night they actually
have been creating more quality scoring chances than their opponents. And them getting more powerplay
chances than their opponents is also a sign of improvement. It may sound a minor thing but if Caps
get 0.5/game more pp-chances than their opponent, they actually get ~0.25 goals advantage per game in the long run with
their recent pp/pk-rates. And that can actually be line between winning and losing in the long run. Somebody, maybe it was Pat Burns, has said that you have winning season if your team has
sum of your pp and pk over 100. Caps have now sum of ~105 and they are seem to get more pp-chances than pk, a think that didn't happen in the past.
Bruins on the other hand have difficult time with scoring lately and their attack seems quite toothless
(which isn't actually much of a surprise as you look their roster now. Not too much talent).
I think this game has sort of a "playoff feel" when both teams should be very motivated. Caps because
they were quite unlucky against Sabres in their latest contest hitting post 2 times and had one goal waved off before
Sabres made an emptynetter to seal the game. Bruins try hard to get back on track after winning only one of their 10
last games(and 4 of last 20). I was very tempted with under on this one too, but inconsitent play of goaltenders
Olaf Kolzig and Felix Potvin(probable starters in this game) made me skip on that one.

Carolina - Buffalo U4.5 60% 1,91 Sportingbet

Both teams play good defense and have trouble of scoring goals. And both teams should be motivated("4 point conference game") so expected total
of this game should be very low.

Tampa - Anaheim ML 2 43% 2.45 BetCris

These teams are bit like two of a kind. Both rely heavily on their overall team play and goaltending, because neither team has much of
scoring talent. Tampa lives by taking less penalties than their opponents as they are a bit of "losing team" on 5-on-5(this year -4, last year -16).
Ducks are capable of being disciplined so Tampa may not be able to use it's main strength, getting opponent to the penalty box. And Ducks actually
have bit more of a talent than Tampa and they are giving 2.45 on the moneyline so why not try them? Tampa hasn't show anything impressive lately
getting their third win in ten games against badly struggling Boston. And they can consider themselves being lucky on that game, scoring very rare 3 times
when shorthanded. On the other hand Ducks have not shown impressive either, but haven't been anything less than Tampa either.

Pittsburgh - Chicago O5.0 58% 1.90 Pinnacle

Actually a fair total line if both teams could have their #1 goalies between pipes. But both M-A Fleury(WJC) and Thibault(injury) are
absent from this game. Sebastian Caron and Leighton/Passmore(whoever plays this for Blackhawks) simply aren't as good goalies as teams
#1's are. In my opinion total line should be near 5.5 goals with these goalies.

Colorado - Vancouver U5.0 50% 2.15 BetCris

Big guns on both teams, but I think this game has "playoff feel". Both teams probably caring more about winning than scoring a lot of goals.
So I expect both to go with defense-first-attitude.
