Watford v Preston
Kotijoukkue säästelee pelaajiaan tulevaa Cup-koitosta silmälläpitäen eli saattaapi löytyä kohtuu kertoimia vieraille!!.
Copy/paste from BBC::
Ray Lewington will use the clash with Preston to give his fringe players a chance to shine ahead of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final.
Watford face their biggest game of the season when Burnley come to Vicarage Road for the televised match.

But Lewington has promised to rest key players ahead of that game and give others a chance to force their way into the reckoning.

"Everybody knows there are places there for them.

"We've tried to get them focused on the league but it's difficult because the cup is all people are talking about," he said.

Paolo Vernazza, Sean Dyche and Anthony McNamee are all in line to be promoted from the substitutes' bench.

Striker Tommy Smith is recovering after suffering whiplash and head injuries in a car crash but is unlikely to return to the squad.

Veikalla kohteet 2 - 21

Bradford City v Leicester City

Bradford could have a defensive headache ahead of the visit of Leicester City.

Wayne Jacobs will definitely miss the game after aggravating a hamstring injury against Walsall on Saturday.

Peter Atherton is another doubt, although Nicky Law is hoping he has recovered from a stomach bug.

Leicester midfielder Matt Jones has recovered from a hamstring injury and is set to be named in the Foxes squad.

A one-game suspension rules out Frank Sinclair, with Andy Impey expected to be given his first start for five weeks as his replacement, while Callum Davidson (groin) and Billy McKinlay (foot) also miss out.
....
Millwall v Burnley

Millwall's Richard Sadlier will again have to settle for a place on the bench against Burnley.

Sadlier returned to action from his long-term hip injury as a substitute during the 5-0 mauling by Portsmouth on Saturday but is unlikely to be promoted to the starting line-up.

Stuart Nethercott is out with a groin injury but Andy Roberts should be in contention after an Achilles problem.

Burnley sustained no new injuries in the weekend win at Stoke and are likely to be unchanged.

Skipper Steve Davis remains out of action after sustaining knee ligament damage against Rotherham in December and is expected to be sidelined for at least a further two weeks.
....
Grimsby v Sheff Utd

Grimsby have a fully-fit squad for the visit of Sheffield United to Blundell Park.

Steve Livingstone could start after completing a three-match suspension.

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock will have Blackburn defender John Curtis in his squad after agreeing a temporary move.

Otherwise, the Blades squad avoided any new knocks during the win over Rotherham and Warnock is expected to take an unchanged squad.
....
Watford v Preston North End

Ray Lewington will use the clash with Preston to give his fringe players a chance to shine, ahead of Watford's FA Cup quarter-final with Burnley.

Paolo Vernazza, Sean Dyche and Anthony McNamee are in line to be promoted from the substitutes' bench.

Tommy Smith is recovering from whiplash and head injuries in a car crash but is unlikely to return to the squad.

Preston's Rob Edwards is doubtful after sustaining an ankle injury at Sheffield Wednesday.

Lee Cartwright and Eddie Lewis (both knee) and Chris Lucketti (shin) also suffered knocks at Hillsborough but are expected to figure against the Hornets.

Colin Murdock has returned to training after a knee injury but the game is likely to come too soon for him.

Dickson Etuhu also remains out with an ankle problem.
.....
Wimbledon v Portsmouth

Ben Chorley will start his Wimbledon career on the bench against Portsmouth after signing from Arsenal.

Chorley failed to sign in time to face Reading on Saturday, and Dons boss Stuart Murdoch is unwilling to change a winning line-up after a 2-0 victory.

Jobi McAnuff is back in full training after a groin injury and should return to the squad but David Connolly remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, and will play no part.

Darren Holloway is back from a knee injury but will be kept out of the side by loan signing Moritz Volz.

Kevin Harper is Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp's only injury concern.

Harper sustained a knock after an hour of Pompey's crushing win at Millwall and was replaced by Jason Crowe but he should be fit.
......
Gillingham v Nottingham Forest

Mamady Sidibe is out of Gillingham's home clash against Nottingham Forest after he damaged a thigh muscle against Brighton.

He faces up to three weeks out, joining fellow strikers Marlon King and Kevin James (both knee) on the sidelines.

Skipper Paul Smith came off as a precaution against the Seagulls after feeling his hamstring tighten but he should be fit to start.

Forest are sweating on the fitness of Matthieu Louis-Jean after a thigh injury forced the French defender to sit out the 1-1 draw with Watford on Saturday.

Paul Hart has no other fresh injury concerns but Forest will once again be without their 24-goal striker David Johnson, who has a knee problem.
....
Rotherham v Walsall

Ronnie Moore will be without Andy Monkhouse for the visit of Walsall to Millmoor.

Monkhouse sustained a medial knee ligament injury during training on Sunday and is likely to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

But Moore has been boosted by the news that Darren Garner should be available for selection.

Garner missed the South Yorkshire derby on Friday night against Sheffield United with an ankle injury but has since returned to training.

Carl Robinson is Walsall's only fitness doubt although he is confident of shaking off a slight shoulder injury.

Zigor Aranalde is back from a one-game suspension and expected to start at Millmoor, Darren Wrack the most likely to make way.
....
Blackpool v Barnsley

Steve McMahon is hoping to have midfielder Keith Southern available for Blackpool's match with Barnsley.

Southern twisted his ankle during Saturday's win over Wycombe and was forced off the field with 35 minutes remaining.

The midfielder is likely to face a late fitness test but Ian Hughes could be back in the squad after a two-month absence.

The defender is nearing full fitness but McMahon, who has no other selection concerns, decided not to risk him against Lawrie Sanchez's side.

Barnsley could again be without defender Lee Crooks because of a calf strain and the clash at Bloomfield Road could come too soon for him.

Midfielder Chris Lumsdon is also fighting to be fit after missing the Pilgrims fixture with a similar calf problem.

Rory Fallon is still sidelined with a fractured foot and David Mulligan is struggling with an ankle knock.

But Paul Gibbs and Kevin Betsy are both pushing for a starting place having been named among the substitutes on Saturday.
...
Wigan v Tranmere

Wigan manager Paul Jewell may recall Lee McCulloch to his starting line-up when the Latics play Tranmere at the JJB Stadium.

McCulloch was named on the bench for Saturday's win over Chesterfield having sustained stomach and chest injuries in a previous game with Crewe.

However, the winger came through the last 20 minutes against the Spireites without any problem and is in contention to line up against Rovers.

Peter Kennedy could also make his return to the Latics squad after recovering from chickenpox.

Tranmere Rovers welcome back four players for the tough looking away trip.

Ryan Taylor returns to contention after a one-match ban, while Stuart Barlow is back after recovering from a groin problem sustained in training.

Russell Howarth could figure after recovering from a bout of tonsilitis that kept him out of action at the weekend and Shane Nicholson is back after a hamstring problem.
........
Plymouth v Peterborough

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock seems certain to shuffle his line-up again for the home match against Peterborough.

Nathan Lowndes, Martin Phillips and David Friio all come into the frame after impressing Sturrock as second-half substitutes in the home draw on Saturday.

Paul Bernard and Marino Keith were recalled to the starting line-up in a 4-3-3 formation against the Tykes, with Brian McGlinchey switched to left-back.

Peterborough striker Leon McKenzie is pushing for a starting spot after coming off the bench to hit the injury-time winner at Crewe.

McKenzie has been a substitute since returning from ankle injury but showed no signs of rustiness as he secured the shock win.

Defender Ian Hendon and striker Francis Green are both expected to be out for a further fortnight with knee trouble.

Posh have no suspension worries as they go in search of a club record sixth successive away clean sheet.
....
Notts County v Port Vale

Notts County have been boosted by the return of Michael Brough ahead of the clash with Port Vale.

A one-game suspension meant Brough missed the win over Luton Town.

However, Nick Fenton serves the first of a two-game ban, while a hip injury afflicting Willis Francis makes him a major doubt.

But Richard Holmes has shaken off ankle ligament trouble and returned to full training on Monday.

Michael Walsh will return to the Port Vale line-up for the first time since suffering a serious knee injury.

Peter Clarke will keep his place in the backline.
....
Huddersfield Town v Queens Park Rangers

Huddersfield defender Eddie Youds may be forced to play against QPR, despite niggling injuries to both Achilles tendons.

Dwayne Mattis is a serious doubt again having missed Saturday's 2-0 win over Northampton with a bruised foot.

His absence would put pressure on Mick Wadsworth to play Chris Holland, who has been fighting a groin strain.

QPR manager Ian Holloway faces a goalkeeping crisis for the trip.

Number one Nick Culkin damaged his knee and shin during Saturday's 3-1 setback at Swindon and is unlikely to be available, leaving Holloway with just one fit senior keeper in Chris Day.

Defender Terrell Forbes trained on Monday following a bout of flu but is rated doubtful, while midfielder Marc Bircham is also struggling through illness.

Ben Walshe (knee) is back in training but remains unlikely to feature, and both Chris Plummer and Andy Thomson are not yet back from hamstring injuries.
......
Crewe v Wycombe

David Wright is expected to return to Crewe's starting line-up for the visit of Wycombe after two games out with a groin strain.

Chris McCready will make way for Wright, while Dave Brammer continues to struggle with a groin injury.

Wycombe should have Keith Ryan back after missing one match with tonsilitis.

Jonny Dixon is likely to be rested having just returned from a knee injury, with Jermaine McSporran ready to step in.

Andy Rammell and Martin Taylor have both returned to training after calf injuries, but are not match fit
.....
Brentford v Cardiff City

Top scorer Rowan Vine will be restored to Brentford's starting line-up against Cardiff.

But Stephen Hunt (ankle) and Andrew Frampton (leg) will both undergo late fitness tests.

Defender Scott Marshall is back after a leg injury and could start, but Leo Roget remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Eddie Hutchinson went off with a head injury against Tranmere but is expected to be fit to return, but Jamie Fullarton is unlikely to feature with a leg injury.

Cardiff will be without right-backs Rhys Weston and Steve Jenkins for the trip to Griffin Park.

Both suffered injuries in the weekend draw at Stockport, with Weston pulling his back in the warm-up and Jenkins being knocked unconscious in a collision with Hatters goalkeeper Ola Tidman.

Gary Croft is likely to switch from left-back to the right-back berth. Chris Barker should replace Croft and Spencer Prior will take Barker's usual spot.

Gavin Gordon sustained a broken nose at Edgeley Park and is doubtful to figure against the Bees.
....
Bristol City v Oldham

Aaron Brown faces an anxious wait to learn whether he has earned a place in the Bristol City starting line-up for the clash with Oldham.

The midfielder picked up the man-of-the-match award for his performance as replacement for the injured Brian Tinnion in Saturday's win over Cheltenham Town.

Tinnion faces another late fitness test on a hamstring strain while Mark Robins (dead leg) and Liam Rosenior (shoulder) are both expected to recover in time.

Oldham manager Iain Dowie will have Julien Baudet available for the first time since the end of January.

Baudet was handed a five-match ban after his red card against Wycombe - the second time he has been sent off this season - but he will be back in contention at Ashton Gate.

Dowie is also set to include Matty Appleby in his squad after the midfielder recovered from a thigh strain which kept him out of Saturday's victory over Mansfield.
....
Colchester United v Northampton Town

Colchester look likely to be without Liam Chilvers, for the visit of Northampton, after he injured his knee against Port Vale.

Phil Parkinson looks likely to stick with a similar squad for the clash with the Cobblers.

Striker Adrian Coote has recovered from a virus but is likely to play at least one further reserve game before returning to first-team action.

Gavin Johnson (broken leg), Mark Warren (groin) and Kevin Rapley (knee) all remain sidelined.

Northampton will welcome back striker Derek Asamoah after he missed the 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield with a knee injury.

Defender Chris Marsh is available after overcoming a stomach bug that prevented him training.
....
Mansfield v Luton

Craig Disley has been ruled out of Mansfield's clash with Luton Town.

Disley sustained medial knee ligament damage in an off-the-ball incident against Oldham on Saturday.

Lee Williamson is likely to step in, but goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington misses out while recovering from a punctured lung.

Luton will be without top scorer Steve Howard after he suffered a knee injury during the defeat at Notts County.

Michael Leary is in line for his full debut while Duncan Jupp could make his first start after appearing as a substitute against County.

Emmerson Boyce is missing with a groin injury, but Russell Perrett is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after recovering from ongoing groin problems.
.....

Russell Howarth could figure after recovering from a bout of tonsilitis that kept him out of action at the weekend and Shane Nicholson is back after a hamstring problem.
.....
Stockport v Chesterfield

Player-manager Carlton Palmer remains the only injury concern for Stockport's home clash with Chesterfield.

Palmer sustained an ankle problem at Cheltenham last month.

The Hatters, fourth from bottom in the table, sustained no injuries against Cardiff and have no suspensions.

Ben Williams will continue in goal for Chesterfield after his loan spell from Manchester United was extended by another month.

It had been hoped that Carl Muggleton would be back in contention for the trip across the Pennines after a broken leg but he suffered a setback in training last week.

Steve Blatherwick will be available for selection again after missing the defeat by Wigan at the weekend through suspension but Chris Brandon will serve the second of a two-match ban.

Apart from Marcus Ebdon (hernia) and Alan O'Hare (ankle), the Spireites have a full-strength squad
-----
3-div
Rushden & Diamonds v Bournemouth

Rushden will wait on late fitness tests for Barry Hunter and Duane Darby ahead of the clash with Bournemouth.

Both suffered injuries in the win over York, with Hunter tweaking a hamstring and Darby sustaining a sore knee.

Definitely out are Gary Setchell (hamstring) and Daniel Talbot (ankle ligament damage), while Adam Sollitt is likely to figure in further reserve games before returning to the first team after his broken wrist.

Bournemouth welcome back Marcus Browning from suspension.

Neil Young could also be in line for a comeback after making good progress in his recovery from an ankle injury.

The defender has not played since the home game with Crewe in January but came through two recent reserve outings without any adverse reaction.
....
Lincoln v Hartlepool

Lincoln boss Keith Alexander will give Simon Weaver a late fitness test ahead of the home game against runaway leaders Hartlepool.

Weaver sustained an ankle ligament injury during Saturday's draw with Leyton Orient and has not trained since, although Alexander is hoping he will be fit enough to play.

Peter Gain and Ben Futcher also sustained knocks in the game but are expected to play.

There are just two definite absentees from the side with Simon Yeo expected to be out another week with a hamstring injury while Dene Cropper is facing another month on the sidelines with a knee problem.

Pools boss Mike Newell will monitor the progress of midfielder Mark Tinkler.

Tinkler, who has weighed in with 10 goals so far this season, limped out of the draw at local rivals Darlington in injury-time.

Paul Smith (badly gashed shin) was included on the substitutes' bench for the first time since Boxing Day at Feethams and he is now ready to fight for a starting spot.
...
Oxford v Leyton Orient

Oxford have a slight doubt over James Hunt ahead of the visit of Leyton Orient.

Hunt has sustained a slight toe injury and boss Ian Atkins will wait to see how he responds to treatment before naming his squad.

Lee Steele may have to be content again with a place on the bench while Paul Powell has fully recovered from a bruised foot which kept him out of training last week.

Leyton Orient boss Paul Brush will name an unchanged line-up after an improved display in the draw against Lincoln.

Chris Tate escaped a one-match ban by a matter of hours after picking up his fifth booking of the season a day after the deadline in that match, and will play.

Justin Miller remains sidelined with a calf injury and will not travel and Dave McGhee is the only other absentee with an Achilles injury.
....
Cambridge United v Rochdale

Adam Tann is expected to be named in the Cambridge side to face Rochdale before he starts a three-match suspension.

John Taylor has no new injury or suspension worries.

Rochdale will be without Simon Grand as the defender serves a one-match suspension for picking up five yellow cards this season.

Paul Simpson dropped himself to the bench against Shrewsbury, following Clive Platt's return after a foot problem, and he is likely to be among the substitutes again.

But Simpson may choose to hand midfielder Michael Oliver a start after he replaced Stephen Hill at half-time against the Shrews.
....
Kidderminster v Southend

Kidderminster Harriers are boosted by the return of Dion Scott and Sean Flynn for the visit of Southend.

Scott has reported fit for duty despite needing two stitches in a cut across the bridge of his nose sustained in the latest defeat to Scunthorpe.

Doctors have also given Flynn a clean bill of health after a scan on his niggling knee injury.

Scott Stamps continues to be sidelined by a groin injury while Dean Bennett's hamstring strain means he will also miss the Shrimpers clash.

Southend welcome Tes Bramble and Damon Searle back from suspension.

Bramble is returning from a three-match ban for a straight red card against Hull City while Searle missed one game for reaching five bookings.

Defensive duo Stephen Broad (hernia op) and Phil Whelan (knee injury) are both still working on their fitness levels while Dave McSweeney (ankle) remains out after falling off his garden wall.

Graeme Jones is still sidelined with a calf injury but Jay Smith will continue to play with a slight groin strain.
....
Bury v Bristol Rovers

Bury have signed striker Chris Porter until the end of the season and he goes straight into the squad for the visit of Bristol Rovers.

Danny Swailes could return to the Shakers' squad - he is available once more after completing a two-match ban.

Andy Preece's side sustained no new injuries in the weekend win over Bournemouth and the Gigg Lane outfit are likely to field a similar team.

Four players remain long-term injury victims.

Simon Whaley and Matthew Barrass (both knee) are expected to be out for a further month, while Ian Lawson (ankle) should be sidelined for two weeks and no date has yet been set for Gareth Seddon (back) to return.

On-loan Norwich City winger Chris Llewellyn is a major doubt for Bristol Rovers ahead of the clash at Gigg Lane.

He received a heavy knock on the knee during the Exeter game.

Another concern is flu victim Ijah Anderson, who played on Saturday but finished the match feeling very ill.
...
Swansea City v Boston United

Steve Watkin is added to the Swansea squad for their relegation `six-pointer' against Boston.

He missed Saturday's 0-0 draw against former club Wrexham through illness.

Terry Evans remains on the sidelines after aggravating a knee injury he suffered against Cambridge, while goalkeeper Roger Freestone (back) is also out.

Marc Richards was substituted against the Dragons with a slight groin problem but he should be fit to continue.

Boston United hope to welcome back Stuart Balmer and Mark Angel for the trip.

Striker Angel was suspended for the 2-1 defeat at Oxford while on-loan Oldham defender Balmer was sidelined by a groin injury.

Neil Redfearn could be in line for a start after proving his fitness as a sub at the Kassam Stadium following calf trouble.

James Gould has failed to recover from a hamstring injury
....
Darlington v York City

Darlington's Stuart Whitehead is doubtful for the clash with York as he struggles to overcome an ankle injury.

Clark Keltie returned from a similar injury against Hartlepool, but Whitehead's knock is proving harder to shake.

Defender Ryan Valentine can face York and Bournemouth before serving his one-match suspension for a red card in the heated Hartlepool game.

York boss Terry Dolan has no fresh injury worries.

Scott Jones was booked for the fifth time this season on Saturday and will now sit out the home game against Bournemouth on March 15.

Lee Bullock returned to the Minstermen's midfield after a one-game ban and should keep his place.

Tom Cowan had to settle for a place on the bench at the weekend as he returns to full fitness following a groin injury sustained at Bury.
....
Shrewsbury v Carlisle

Shrewsbury's Mark Atkins is pushing for a starting place in the LDV Vans Northern final second leg against Carlisle after making his comeback as a substitute at the weekend.

Atkins had been out for three weeks with a knee injury but came off the bench for the last 20 minutes in the home win against Rochdale.

Defender David Artell could also be in contention for a start after being an unused sub in the 3-1 win due to bruised ribs.

Peter Wilding suffered no ill effects from a groin injury as he played the full 90 minutes, but goalkeeper Mark Cartwright is still struggling with a knee injury.

Carlisle will travel without Jamie Burt, Des Byrne and Brian Shelley.

Byrne and Burt have left the club while Shelley has been transfer-listed after the trio broke a club curfew after the thumping by Hull.

On-loan Middlesbrough man Mark Hudson will be unavailable as the midfielder is cup-tied.

Fellow loan signing Stuart Green is hoping to shake off a virus ahead of the game, while Lee Maddison remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
....
Macclesfield v Hull

Macclesfield are likely to be unchanged from the weekend win over Southend for the visit of Hull.

Dave Moss's side sustained no new injuries against the Shrimpers and have no suspensions.

Chris Byrne (leg), Paul Aldridge (foot) and Paul O'Neill (hernia) remain long-term injury victims.

Hull have Ian Ashbee available after suspension, but boss Peter Taylor is unlikely to change a winning line-up.

Richie Appleby has impressed in Ashbee's absence and should keep his place.

Jonathan Walters is expected to continue alongside Stuart Elliott and Jamie Forrester.

Damien Delaney remains doubtful with a hamstring strain, with Shaun Smith set to deputise again.
....
Exeter City v Wrexham

Exeter City defender Chris Curran is set to keep his place in the starting line-up for the game against Wrexham.

He returned to the back four for the first time since November for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers.

Don Goodman (thigh) and midfielder Martin Thomas (groin) will miss the game.

Hector Sam is almost certainly out of the Wrexham side after pulling a hamstring at Swansea.

Jim Whitley remains doubtful after missing his first game of the season at the Vetch Field with a thigh strain sustained in training.

Dennis Lawrence should be fit despite playing most of Saturday's game with a cut heel.

Stephen Roberts continues to struggle with a long-standing heel problem but is expected to start.

VIIMEISET KESKINÄISET OTTELUT:
Sheffield United Grimsby Town 2:1 1.51 3.54 5.75 Tue 17-09-2002

Perusideana kuitenkin se, että Sheffield United on Grimsbyä tasokkaampi joukkue. Tosin Grimsby on pelannut perinteisesti hyvin kotonaan, vaikka onkin muuten ollut heittopussi. Grimsby tuo joitakin uusia pelaajia kokoonpanoonsa, mm. Leedsin reserveistä joku junnu.

Watford - Preston 2(3,90) Centrebet 4/10

Watfordilla edessä tärkeä cupin matsi ja lepuuttaa joitakin ykköskokoonpanon pelaajia (lähde mm . BBC).

Middlesbrough v Newcastle United

Middlesbrough will be without former Derby defender Chris Riggott against Newcastle at the Riverside Stadium.

Riggott has undergone an operation on a torn cartilage and will be out of action for three to four weeks. Ugo Ehiogu is expected to take over after recovering from broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Striker Malcolm Christie is rated doubtful with a virus and manager Steve McClaren has yet to decide whether to play Brazilian star Juninho from the start or again put him on the substitutes' bench.

Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer is a doubt after suffering a recurrence of his shin problems.

Dyer has not trained for the last two days and has had x-rays on the shin in which he has previously suffered stress fractures.

Jermaine Jenas is standing by after recovering from an Achilles problem, while Laurent Robert and Steve Harper return from suspension.
.....
Man Utd v Leeds

Wes Brown and Mikael Silvestre are doubtful for Manchester United's clash with Leeds at Old Trafford.

Silvestre injured his knee during the Worthington Cup final defeat by Liverpool, while Brown suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem.

If neither makes it, Roy Keane could again be pressed into emergency service alongside Rio Ferdinand in defence.

Diego Forlan is hopeful of being in the squad after limping out of the Champions League win over Juventus with an ankle injury.

Quinton Fortune also comes into contention after recovering from a broken leg.

Leeds' hopes of winning at Old Trafford for the first time in 22 years are hindered by their latest injury crisis.

Jason Wilcox (flu), Dominic Matteo, Michael Duberry (both hamstring) and Eirik Bakke (ankle) are out while Harry Kewell serves a one-match suspension.

Gary Kelly is also struggling with a hamstring problem, while Lucas Radebe is again doubtful with his ongoing knee injuries. The only bonus is Mark Viduka returns from a three-match ban.
....
Swindon v Cheltenham

Jon Beswetherick is struggling to be fit for Swindon's game against Cheltenham at the County Ground.

He is suffering from a swollen right knee and sore shins following his full debut in Saturday's 3-1 win against QPR.

Matt Hewlett is also a doubt with a swollen foot while Danny Invincibile could be ruled out again with an infected toe.

Nathan Edwards and Dave Bampton are on standby to come into the team.

Cheltenham boss Bobby Gould will bring Marvin Brown back into the reckoning.

Brown has had his loan spell from Bristol City extended into a second month but as part of the arrangement between the clubs, he did not feature at Ashton Gate on Saturday as City overcame Cheltenham 3-1.

The 19-year-old has been operating on the left wing but is expected to be switched to a more natural position in the centre alongside Julian Also, with Damien Spencer likely to start on the bench.
.....
Norwich City v Reading

Steen Nedergaard and Malky Mackay are back from suspension to boost Norwich City's promotion bid.

The pair were missed as Norwich lost in Sunday's East Anglian derby with Ipswich at Carrow Road, but they are expected to return for the clash with Reading.

Mark Rivers (cramp) will also make the squad while on-loan Leigh Bromby - who deputised for Mackay - is expected to keep his place following a foot injury to Craig Fleming.

David Healy has returned to Preston following the end of his loan spell.

Reading have injury worries over Steve Brown and Steve Sidwell.

Brown (bruised foot) and Sidwell (shin) were victims of some enthusiastic tackling by Wimbledon and both will be given until the last minute to be passed fit
.....
Derby v Crystal Palace

Derby County are confident Giorgi Kinkladze will regain fitness in time to face Crystal Palace at Pride Park.

The Rams entertain the Eagles with the midfield maestro battling to recover from the back injury which forced his 58th-minute substitution during the draw with Leicester City.

Warren Barton will miss the clash as he completes his two-match ban following his dismissal in the 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Andrew Johnson is ruled out for Palace after damaging ligaments in his foot.

The striker was carried off on a stretcher during the 4-0 battering by Wolves with a suspected fracture, although scans revealed his injury is not as bad as first feared and Palace manager Trevor Francis hopes to have him back in training this week.

Francis is short of firepower with striker Dougie Freedman completing his three-match suspension. Ade Akinbiyi and Tommy Black will be competing to start up front alongside Dele Adebola.
.....
Sheffield Wednesday v Coventry

Sheffield Wednesday manager Chris Turner has a selection dilemma up front for the home clash with Coventry after watching his side misfire in recent matches.

The Owls are without a goal in their last two but Lee Bradbury has returned for a second loan spell and Shefki Kuqi has been recalled to the side after clear-the-air talks with Turner.

Lloyd Owusu and Tony Crane, who came off the bench to replace Bradbury and Kuqi during the home defeat by Preston, staked their claims by scoring for the reserves this week.

Owusu suffered a slight ankle injury while Crane took a knock to his leg in that match, but both are hoping to be passed fit.

Turner also has the option of starting with Michael Reddy, on loan from Sunderland, who also came on against Preston.

Coventry will be without David Pipe for the trip despite his injury not being as serious as first feared.

Pipe could be joined on the sidelines by Jay Bothroyd, who is rated as doubtful after picking up an ankle knock, while Morten Hyldgaard, ruled out of the victory at Grimsby by a slight ankle injury, will undergo a late fitness test.

Richard Shaw is expected to return to the line-up after completing a one-game suspension.
.....

Wolves v Ipswich

George Ndah is out of Wolves' clash with Ipswich after a scan confirmed he had suffered a hamstring tear.

Lee Naylor sustained a bruised knee during Saturday's 4-0 trouncing of Crystal Palace but will be fit, as should Paul Ince (cut knee).

But there are concerns over Shaun Newton and Colin Cameron, who both limped out of the Palace game.

Newton was substituted in the 62nd minute after his foot was cut and Cameron was replaced in the 86th minute after severe bruising to his foot.

Ipswich's Darren Ambrose faces a race against time to be fit following a knee injury.

Ambrose limped out of the 2-0 win over Norwich at Carrow Road on Sunday after 70 minutes and will undergo a late fitness test for the trip to Molineux.

Marcus Bent suffered a hamstring injury last week but returned to training on Tuesday and could return, but John McGreal is struggling with a back problem and is unlikely to participate.
.......
Stoke City v Brighton

Stoke manager Tony Pulis is hoping to add Clive Clarke to his squad for the vital clash with relegation rivals Brighton at the Britannia Stadium.

Clarke has been sidelined since November with a knee ligament injury.

Andy Cooke is back from a similar injury, but Kristian Commons (knee) is not expected to return this season.

Bobby Zamora returns to spearhead Brighton's attack after a one-match suspension.

Brighton have lost all 11 matches Zamora has missed this season and the striker leads the line with Graham Barrett as Gary Hart serves the third of a four-match ban.

Paul Brooker or on-loan Reading forward Tony Rougier are likely to make way for Zamora, who has scored four goals in six games.(Ananova)
