Christian Roberts and Scott Murray face fitness tests before Bristol City's play-off second leg clash with Cardiff at Ashton Gate.

Striker Roberts took knocks to a knee and ankle during Saturday's 1-0 first leg defeat at Ninian Park, while winger Murray got through the 90 minutes despite having needed treatment on tight calf muscles.

Manager Danny Wilson is hopeful both will be available but he is definitely without the suspended Liam Rosenior, who appeared as a substitute in the first leg.

Leroy Lita is likely to be the replacement and could even challenge for a place in the starting line-up if Roberts is ruled out.

Wilson's main dilemma is whether to recall veteran playmaker Brian Tinnion to the starting line-up after using him as a late substitute on Saturday.

Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence has no new selection problems.

Any possible changes to his starting line-up will be purely tactical but Rob Earnshaw and Peter Thorne are set to start in attack again.

Midfielder Gareth Ainsworth sits out the second of his two-match suspension following his dismissal in the 2-0 league defeat against City at the end of April.

By beating Bristol City, 1-0, in the first leg, Cardiff broke a negative tradition, as they had not defeated City for 32 years! They scored the only goal of the game in the middle of the second half, but at that time of the game, Bristol looked the likelier scorer. Tomorrow Bristol City should get their revenge, and I give them my support (2.10). Scott Murray and Christian Roberts will have late fitness tests, but both are expected to line up for City. Veteran striker Brian Tinnion came on as a late sub in the first half, and maybe he will get a better chance to play tomorrow. Rosenior is suspended, and Leroy Lita will join the squad instead. Cardiff should be unchanged. Bristol City have been the much better side during this last month, and this 0-1 loss away to Cardiff should not dampen the City enthusiasm. I am absolutely convinced that they very much fancy their chances to qualify for the play off final. A home win, and the price is 2.10.
