Bournemouth v Barnsley

Steve Fletcher and Karl Broadhurst are both doubtful. Warren Cummings is definitely sidelined.

Barnsley will be without Steve McPhail (knee), Neil Austin (foot) and Michael Boulding, who has been taken ill. Barnsley will also be without suspended pair Jacob Burns and Chris Shuker.

Bristol City v Colchester

New loan signing Tony Dinning is likely to replace suspended skipper Tommy Doherty. Dinning is set to team up with Bradley Orr in midfield. Tinnion and defender Matthew Hill will have late fitness tests before a decision is made on the starting line-up.

Striker Ben May is banned. Karl Duguid and Aidan Davison are long-term absentees, while Ben Bowditch's fitness will be assessed after illness.

Blackpool v Huddersfield

Blackpool defender Mark McGregor will undergo a late fitness test. Midfielder Paul Edwards sits out a one-match ban. Long-term injury victims Keith Southern (knee) and Martin Bullock (hamstring) are unlikely to figure.

Huddersfield will be without Junior Mendes, Rob Edwards and keeper Ian Gray. Peter Jackson will choose from young John McAliskey, Andy Booth and Akpo Sodje to replace Mendes and partner Pawel Abbott up front. Sodje, younger brother of skipper Efe, has scored nine goals for Town's reserves since arriving in early September but has yet to open his account for the first team.

Doncaster v Peterborough

Doncaster boss Dave Penney is sweating over the fitness of James Coppinger ahead of the home clash with Peterborough. midfielder Ricky Ravenhill misses out as he serves the final game of a three-match ban. Defender Simon Marples is struggling with a thigh strain and he could join Steve Foster and Mark Albrighton (both knee) on the sidelines.

Matt Nolan remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Hartlepool v Port Vale

Midfielder Richie Humphreys is almost certainly ruled out. Defender Michael Nelson definitely misses out as he serves a one-match ban. Gavin Strachan pulled out of training this week with a groin problem, while striker Adam Boyd is suffering with a sore knee but both are hopeful of being fit. Long-term absentees Darrell Clarke and Hugh Robertson remain on the sidelines.

Port Vale will be without suspended defender Micky Walsh. Midfielder Andreas Lipa has pulled a hamstring again while striker Lee Matthews (ankle) and keeper Mark Goodlad (thigh) are expected to return in around 10 days. However, Foyle can call on midfielders Ian Armstrong (calf) and Steve Rowland (knee), who both came through a reserve match.

Luton v Bradford

Luton will be without captain Kevin Nicholls for the top-of-the-table meeting with Bradford.

Bradford manager Colin Todd is keeping his fingers crossed that Dele Adebola will be fit. Midfielder Nicky Summerbee has picked up a groin injury and he joins defenders Peter Atherton (ankle) and Wayne Jacobs (knee) on the sidelines.

MK Dons v Walsall

Walsall's Midfielder Mark Kinsella has been ruled out by a calf strain and goalkeeper Richard McKinney has a fractured kneecap. Defender Kofi Dakinah, back from hamstring trouble, remains short of match sharpness and is unlikely to figure.

Sheff Wed v Chesterfield

Ola Tidman will continue in goal in place of David Lucas (ankle), while striker Lee Peacock (ankle) and midfielder Paul Smith (knee) remain long-term absentees.

Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland welcomes Alan O'Hare back into the squad. Mark Innes is definitely out with a thigh injury, while fellow midfielder Mark Hudson is still a couple of weeks away. Derek Niven could also be absent from the midfield after picking up a knock against Doncaster.

Stockport v Oldham

Stockport manager Sammy McIlroy will be without suspended defender Danny Adams. Midfielder Mark Robertson is again ruled out with a torn thigh muscle, while striker Chris Williams is also sidelined through injury.

Latics boss Brian Talbot has boosted his attacking options with the signing of Hull striker Aaron Wilbraham on a month's loan. Talbot will be without other forwards Rodney Jack, who injured his knee while on international duty with St Vincent, and Chris Killen (calf).

Swindon v Torquay

Matt Hewlett remains doubtful with a neck injury while Stefani Miglioranzi is out for another two weeks with a groin strain.

Loan signing Leon Constantine will make his debut for Torquay. Striker Constantine, who scored 25 goals for Southend last season, has joined for one month from Peterborough in a deal which could become permanent if he impresses.
Manager Leroy Rosenior should have forwards Jo Kuffour (groin) and Martin Gritton (gashed leg) available again. But centre-back Steve Woods is doubtful with groin and knee injuries while midfielder Matt Hockley is serving a one-match ban.

Tranmere v Brentford

Tranmere boss Brian Little will be without the services of midfielder Theodore Whitmore. Paul Linwood will also be missing and the game is likely to come too soon for broken-leg victim Simon Haworth.

Brentford boss Martin Allen will give late fitness tests to two players. Midfielder Stephen Hunt and defender Andy Myers are both struggling with groin injuries and Allen will make a late decision before selecting his XI. Brentford will also be without the injured Mike Dobson and Scott Fitzgerald.

Wrexham v Hull

Wrexham manager Denis Smith will again be without a host of players for the visit of high-flying Hull to the Racecourse Ground. Veteran defender Brian Carey has visited a specialist to try and clear up his niggling knee problem and midfielder Dean Bennett is also ruled out with a thigh strain. Defender Craig Morgan is a doubt after turning his ankle in training. Midfielder Danny Williams (hamstring) has a chance of facing the Tigers but Jim Whitley (thigh), Andy Dibble (hand) and Carlos Edwards (knee) are all sidelined.

Matt Duke (back) is still four weeks away from a return, so loan signing Stuart Brock will provide back-up for goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. Defender Alton Thelwell is likely to remain sidelined as he is struggling with a virus.
