Leeds tunkee samoin tänä vuonna aivan eri sijoille mihin viime kaudella jäätiin. Millwall on potentiaalinen kauden katastrofijoukkue; kärsinyt todella kovat menetykset kun Dichio, Ifill, Ward & Sweeney lähtivät ja tietenkin Dennis Wise. Tämän päälle managerisekoilut = ei hyvä heilu. Leedsin menoa ei edes hirveästi heikennä poissaolot kun Hulse on hyvin korvattavissa ja Stone tärkeydestään huolimatta ei ole vielä pelannut liigaa Leedsin paidassa (kun vasta siirtyi).
Muista kohteista ei mitään pelattavaa vielä, Norwichin ja Palacen prosenttien kanssa otin sen verran varovaisesti.

Steve MacLeanin poissaolosta (peräti 6kk) iso korjaus Stoken hyväksi. Siinä mureni Sheff W:n hyökkäyspelistä todella iso lovi ja koko matsi entisestään pahemmaksi under-peliksi, jos se nyt enää oli mahdollista. Korvaaja varmasti ostetaan/lainataan mutta tuskin vielä ylihuomiseksi.

Sheffield United and Leicester City get the new domestic season under way, live on Sky Sports 1.
The lunchtime kick-off at Bramall Lane will see the 2005/06 campaign start in earnest, with both clubs chasing promotion from The Championship.
The Blades have been splashing the cash over the summer and Danny Webber and Paul Ifill can both expect to make their debuts in front of the Sky TV cameras.

Jason De Vos is a big doubt for Ipswich Town as they open the new season at home to Cardiff City.
The Canadian defender has picked up a dead leg in training and, though included in the squad, is struggling to make the clash.
Town boss Joe Royle has added teenage stopper Chris Casement to the squad as cover for De Vos, with Ipswich starting the new campaign without several of the key men who took them to the brink of promotion last term.
The likes of Darren Bent, Kelvin Davis Shefki Kuqi and Tommy Miller have all gone, with the goalscoring onus now falling on the shoulders of new signings Nicky Forster and Sam Parkin.
Spanish stopper Castro Sito is unlikely to make his debut against Cardiff, with the visitors having nine new players at their disposal.
Cardiff boss Dave Jones has enjoyed a hectic summer and is likely to hand starts to Darren Purse, Neil Cox, Jermaine Darlington, Jeff Whitley and Jason Koumas.
Fellow new signings Kevin Cooper, Phil Mulryne, Glenn Loovens and Andrea Ferretti are likely to take up a place on the bench, while Joe Ledley is out for a few more weeks with a broken bone in his foot.

Reading v Plymouth
Dave Kitson is in contention to feature for Reading when they entertain Plymouth Argyle.
The flame-haired striker has been struggling with a knee injury but a painkilling injection could see him line up on Saturday.
While Kitson could play for The Royals, Brynjar Gunnarsson is definitely missing for another fortnight with his knee injury.
New signings Kevin Doyle, Stephen Hunt and Leroy Lita are tipped to start, while Graham Stack, Chris Makin and Nicky Shorey may overcome minor injuries to feature.
Plymouth travel to The Madejski Stadium having added experience to their squad during the summer months.
Bobby Williamson has made six signings and they could all feature on Saturday, with Taribo West, Rufus Brevett and Anthony Barness brought in to bolster the defence.
Bojan Djordjic may make his debut on the wing, Nuno Mendes is in the squad while Akos Buzsaky could be handed his second bow for The Pilgrims having turned his loan deal from Porto into a permanent arrangement

Saints v Wolves
Antti Niemi is in the Southampton squad to face Wolves, live on Sky Sports 1, as Glenn Hoddle returns to St Mary's.
Finnish goalkeeper Niemi had been a doubt for the club's opening game in The Championship due to a wrangle over his contract.
But Niemi has now settled his differences with the Southampton board and should start against Wolves on Saturday evening.
Saints boss Harry Redknapp has seen several big-name departures over the summer following the club's relegation from The Premiership, with front duo Kevin Phillips and Peter Crouch the toughest to replace.
Ricardo Fuller has been signed from Portsmouth and is likely to make his debut after being granted a work permit, while new signing Djamel Belmadi should also feature.
Nigel Quashie (thigh) and Dennis Wise (hamstring) are hopeful of playing but Marian Pahars (heel) and Neil McCann (Achilles) are absent.
Hoddle is expecting a hot reception from the Saints fans as he returns to his former club having made a positive impact at Wolves.
The Black Country side, though, could face Saints without two key players as both Paul Ince (knee) and Jody Craddock (calf) are aiming to shake off knocks.
Henri Camara will not play for Wolves as Hoddle is refusing to pick the striker until after the close of the transfer window, if the African is still at Molineux in September.

Stoke v Sheff Wed
Sheffield Wednesday take an injury-hit squad to Stoke City for their return to Championship action.
Owls boss Paul Sturrock has a string of selection problems as he looks to get the club off to a winning start following their promotion from League One.
Steven MacLean is the most notable absentee for The Owls as the striker will be out for six months with a broken leg and knee ligament damage.
The visitors will also be without Drew Talbot (back), Barry Corr (thigh), John-Paul McGovern (back) and Lee Bullen (Achilles).
Leon Best, signed on loan from Southampton, will make his debut, while Graham Coughlan (back), Drissa Diallo (groin), Graeme Lee (virus) and Adam Proudlock (toe and virus) hope to recover from their various ailments.
Stoke also have injury worries, with Michael Duberry and Darel Russell both doubtful for Johan Boskamp's first game in charge.
Boskamp hopes to have the duo fit for the match at The Britannia Stadium but Russell, in particular, is not confident of shaking off a hamstring complaint.
Luke Chadwick will make his debut after signing on loan from West Ham, while Carl Hoefkens and Toddi Gudjonsson should shake off knocks to play.

Watford v Preston
Adrian Boothroyd has a string of new signings to choose from as Watford play host to Preston North End.
The Hornets manager has been busy put the finishing touches to his squad this week, with Ben Foster and Darius Henderson both being snapped up.
Foster, who arrives on loan from Manchester United, should start in goal for Watford, although former Gillingham striker Henderson may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Fellow new signings Marlon King and Junior are tipped to start, while Jordan Stewart could be in the chosen XI.
Boothroyd is likely to have his other new recruits - Sietes, Adam Griffiths and Martin Devaney - on the bench as he waits on the fitness of James Chambers and Gavin Mahon.
Preston are looking to build on last season's play-off final defeat and manager Billy Davies has also been active in the transfer market.
Danny Dichio, Lewis Neal, David Jones, Joe Anyinsah and Dave Hibbert have all been brought to Deepdale and could feature against Watford.
But Davies will be without Matt Hill, who has a hamstring injury, and Andy Lonergan, who is still recovering from a cruciate ligament problem

Toki on selvää, että kun Kuqi/Bent etc. ovat poistuneet riveistä, niin Ipswich on heikentynyt eniten koko Championshipissa. Mutta minusta se ei kuitenkaan tarkoita sitä, että joukkue olisi mitenkään huono. Uudet hankinnat kärkeen (Parkin ja Forster) ovat aivan kelvollisia pelimiehiä. MV Davisin poistuminen on luonnollisesti myös takaisku, nyt torjuntavastuun saa nuori Price, joka viime vuonna pelasi jonkin verran ja ihan menestyksekkäästi. Ja sitten kun katson Cardiffin tilannetta, niin ei se kyllä mitään riemun kiljahduksia herätä, minusta joukkue on ainakin paperilla edelleen askeleen Ipswichia perässä, etenkin omissa silmissäni joukkueen hyökkäyskalusto (onko sitä?) on 20 maalia huonompi kuin Ipswichin. Jos joukkueen ykköspelote on joku Alan Lee tai Cameron Jerome, niin siinä kyydissä ei kyllä mitään maali-iloittelua tulla näkemään. Eipä siis ihme, että joukkue yrittää haalia uutta voimaa hyökkäykseen. Keskikentällä (mikäli remonttiin mennyt joukkue on hitsautunut) joukkue pystyy vastaamaan Ipswichille, mutta puolustustakin pitäisin (etenkin jos De Vos pelaa) heikompana kuin Ipswichilla.
Eli kokonaisuutena pidän Ipswichia heikentyneestä kokoonpanosta huolimatta aika paljon Cardiffia parempana nippuna ja itse arvioin Ipswichin voittavan tämän taiston sellaisella 55 % todennäköisyydellä. Eli "pikkuisen" on meillä eroa näkemyksessä.

Cardiffin vuoden takaisesta avauskokoonpanosta on jäljellä riippuen laskutavasta 2-3 pelaaja. Jos avauskokoonpanosta vaihtuu edes 5 pelaaja on ihan sama ketä oikein tulee kun paketti menee heti sekaisin. Sanoisin että toi 40% on törkeän vähän vaikka Cardiff voittaisi tämän 0-5. Oma arvio 55 25 20 tähän eli sama kuin pjl.
