If there is a team that has serious troubles right now it’s the Knicks. They are so troubled actually that some things start to smell and some conflicts are rising already.

The Bucks are not problem free themselves as their starting point guard T.J. Ford injured his foot playing against the Heat on Tuesday. He did not have a fracture, but he is expected to miss few weeks with midfoot sprain. As there are always bright side for every bad news Ford`s injury will give a chance for the Bucks backup guard Maurice Williams to step up. He showed every intention to do so as he scored team high 24 points against the Heat in 35 minutes. Milwaukee has lost its last 2 games, but both were played away (against the rising Magic and strong Heat). Nevertheless the Bucks are 8-4 at home this year winning last 2 games (against the Spurs and Hornets) and the Knicks will be probably the weakest opponent they have seen so far.

Two games ago the Knicks superstar (or at least the player who was meant to lead this team) Stephon Marbury was booed by the homecrowd, in the next game he shot 0-7 from the field in 40 minutes. The Knicks head coach Larry Brown tried to control his emotions, but was obviously furious and fustrated as he questioned whole them commitment. The Knicks become only the 2nd team in this season to end up with 0 steals against the Magic, Marbury fired back to Brown claiming that he was asked not to shoot the ball, Quentin Richardson left the game with back spasms and is questionable for tonights game, Eddy Curry injured his calf (in addition to his ankle sprain) hopes to play tonight, but is very questionable and most probably will miss few games again. Missing or having injured Curry will hurt the Knicks bad as he has been the only one, who has shown solid perfomances if healthy.

Although New York is on a 1-9 run and it seems that things can´t get any worse the Knicks find a way to make bad look terrible. They have injuries, conflicts, no momentum and all the other problems you can imagine. The Bucks will play without Ford, but they have a reasonable substitute to fill his shoes, they play at home and they have 8 more wins than the Knicks. No brainer here … the Bucks to cover with high stakes!
